lol yes but people are talking about their phones shipping from China when they'll likely be dispatched from PA if they follow similar suite as Apple.

I spoke to a rep to ensure my order was placed properly. And she said there was no possible way that I would be getting my phone on launch day because they don't have the devices yet. She said my shipping was free expedited 2 business day shipping. So I'm not sure how accurate that it but from what she said it looks like I won't be getting it until after the weekend
I had a similar experience. I just got off the phone with 611 because my order still says, "No shipping estimate currently available. Please check back for updates as we process your order." She said everything looks fine with my order but that because I picked UPS Ground I should expect my phone with a week from Friday. I wasn't aware the shipping option had anything to do with it, and I had to pay for the shipping too.

which day did you order yours? Mine hasn't moved but the ship date said 21 or 22

Oy I ordered after you. I'm really hoping to get mine friday as my current phone keeps overheating. Ugh.
It doesn't make any sense. I preordered last year ( definitely not at midnight ) but I didn't get the phone until almost 3 weeks after launch
This is my first iphone preorder. I have been with the galaxy notes. I have done many preorders. And this exact same thing happens but then I get it two days early. I do know apple is harder though. I really do think there is a chance of getting it Friday. Fingers crossed. I have a galaxy s8 and I am having all kinds of issues. I have had apple phones before. Never had issues with it. This time I am sticking with the apple phone.
I wouldn’t really put much thought into what the reps say. I ordered at 12:30am with an estimated ship date of 9/21-9/22 and I talked to a rep today and she said I will get my iPhone 8 Plus on Friday.
My estimated to ship date is: 09/25/2017 - 09/28/2017
I contacted them via Twitter yesterday asking why and I was told that all pre orders will show as back order until the device is shipped.
Even if the shipping dates are accurate that means we still have to wait two business days for delivery, that's what I understood
i have changed my preorder twice now.. 8 plus to 8 to 8 plus .... God knows when mine will ship ...
What is your shipping date estimate?!? If it is 9/21-9/22, I will bet any amount of money you will get the iPhone on Friday. If there is no movement with your order by Wednesday night I would get concerned.

Last year was way worse then this and I got all 4 iPhone pluses on launch day, but there wasn’t any activity to my account until Tuesday night.
You will get it on Friday. Like I said if there is no activity by Wednesday night you should be concerned. But last year everything really started moving on Tuesday.

The regular 8’s are starting today and tomorrow it will be the plus’s turn.
No problem...I was in your place last year. I got my orders in right at midnight and I kept checking and there wasn’t any activity until Tuesday and it got here in time from China. But this year I hear they are being mailed with the states, but I don’t know if that is true or not. You know how rumors are...lol
