I don’t think the t-mobile app will change until it is in the ups hands. My ups app says waiting for ups.

BTW, the two silver 8+ phones that have shipped (our Gold one has not) show UPS Next Day Air Saver as the shipping service.
That makes it sound like a Thursday arrival. But I’ll sure UPS and Apple have put the kibosh on that.

Article doesn’t list any advantages. Care to highlight what you saw in that article that you thought was an advantage? They objectively compared Dolby Vision to HDR10 streams but gave no hard data to prove DV is better. It was all opinion. They then followed up by watching a UHD disc which looked worse in DV.
DV has dynamic metadata but HDR10 is getting that as well likely in 2018. The two standards are identical and DV is built on HDR10.
Here from last year but late to the party. Was on the fence about ordering but finally caved yesterday morning. Ordered a silver 8+ 64 gig on JOD. Got a shipping window of 9/25-9/28. Hoping to get it before the 27th or else I’ll have to send it back to be able to jump on 10/27.
You should create one of the free mychoice UPS accounts; you can have them hold for delivery at your choice of location and pick it up first thing in the morning. I have done this the last few years; works perfect
They’ve assigned actual devices to me at this point. I’ve gotten the JOD IMEI update email.
I got that email this morning also my phone now shows Iphone 8 under phones under my line.
That means partially backordered in our system. System is just waiting for your device and then will be marked as shipped.
Partially Pre Order is what it should say right after you order it then it should switch to pre order. I would call to be safe.
Website showed 1 64GB Space Grey 8 shipped yesterday around 1 PM for me.. Around 5:20 yesterday afternoon, I received JOD EIP update document with IMEI.. Thats around the same time UPS My Choice showed it with standard overnight shipping and delivery date of Friday.. Quickly changed that on My Choice to pickup at UPS Customer Counter because we're leaving for Florida Friday afternoon before UPS delivers to the house. I'll be picking up at 8:30 when they open.
