Ordered 8+ space gray Friday at 2pmish, order status is still on Being Processed. I think I should be fine as I've never had any issues in the past years. I expect some updates either today or at the very late tomorrow.
I am sure you will get it . I have been reading that the demand for Iphone preorder is only a third of what we have seen in the past.
This may be due to X or apple fans not impressed with very minimal updates to 8/8 +.
And of course carrier promotions are lack luster at best .
So I ordered mine ok launch day via t mobile website. Then it was messed up and CRS called me to fix it. Then it has been stuck on order processing ever since. Now the ship dates slipped to 9/21-25 when originally it was 9/21-22. Texted T-Mobile and they gave a generic answer that it is just an estimate....
They won’t ship it until Thursday evening probably but is overnight shipping so it will be there by Friday end of day
Usually a day, but because these phones are not supposed to be in our hands earlier than Friday, you may not see movement until tomorrow

Naw they're just adding your specific device to your account. It essentially means you've been assigned a device.
It's overnight shipping, you probably won't see updates until maybe Thursday.
Most content doesn’t even take advantage of dynamic metadata at this point so sure DV supports it but you’ll need HDMI 2.1 to pass the meta data content. HDMI 2.1 isn’t out on any devices so everyone has a long wait
I created a MyChoice account and decided to change my delivery location from my home address to my work address (since I'll get my new 8+ about 5 hours earlier this way!). I was charged $5 for the change of delivery address. Any experience with this in the past? Hope I didn't just mess up my order!
Being charged to change the delivery is normal unless you have MyChoice Premium. I should note that changing the delivery MAY delay your delivery by a business day. It depends on how early on in the process you make the change.
I see. Well the item is "Ready for UPS", that is, a label has been created but not yet arrived to the UPS facility. Hopefully it's early enough in the process.

That's basically what I did. According to UPS, it actually may cause a delay in our shipments. That's a bit unnerving.
I tried to change it this morning but my normal place is temporarily not accepting packages; hopefully that changes in the next few hours.
There has to be T-Mobile staff on these forums that know if stores will have salable inventory of the 8/8+ Friday morning. I want to line up to do a JOD upgrade to the 8+ and then another JOD upgrade to the X later but have to do it in store to prevent a delay that results in me now being able to upgrade to the X on pre-order day. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated?! Also, are the stores opening at 8am Friday?
