Carrier T-Mobile iPhone X/8 Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

There has to be T-Mobile staff on these forums that know if stores will have salable inventory of the 8/8+ Friday morning. I want to line up to do a JOD upgrade to the 8+ and then another JOD upgrade to the X later but have to do it in store to prevent a delay that results in me now being able to upgrade to the X on pre-order day. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated?! Also, are the stores opening at 8am Friday?

From my experience the reps know normally for sure Thurday when the phones come in. I also know management gets emails about shipments. I would just call them tommorow.

Nope no watch. I’m going to wait until maybe February or March for the X because I’m not dealing with all that haha!

Whats the chances of myself going into a T-mobile store Friday evening and trading in my 6 for the 8 64GB? I'm thinking I might have to wait a few days as the stores will most likely be sold out.

So I got a 64 gb 8 plus in gold and another in space gray. Gold has been showing as “shipping” but only a shipping label has been created since last night (no other movement). The space gray is still showing as “order being processed”. What do u think the odds are that I get them Friday. They both show shipping 9/21-9/22 on the app.

That's basically what I did. According to UPS, it actually may cause a delay in our shipments. That's a bit unnerving.

Hopefully it won’t cause a delay. I’ve done an address change with UPS a few times and I always received it same day I was due to. But the trick is to request the address change before the package has left the UPS facility. So it should still come Friday for both of us!

I think you’ll get them on Friday. I don’t think UPS will update tracking info until tomorrow. That’s my guess

It’s overnight shipping. Apple gives them a day when they should ship, this prevents them from being delivered early. You’ll see movement tomorrow and it will be delivered on Friday.

I ordered mine yesterday and it's showing shipped on my order status, though UPS doesn't find the label yet. Hoping I get mine on Friday too! 8+ Space Gray 64gb

Update: My UPS label came alive but with no shipping info yet. Looks like they are shipping Next Day Air Saver.

Does anybody know anything about the wired fast charging yet on the 8's? I know if you use the usb c 29 watt macbook brick or the 13 inch usb c 61 watt macbook brick or the 15 inch 87 watt macbook brick it will charge fast. I heard %50 in 30 minutes. My question is I own all three of those bricks so will the 87 watt brick charge even faster or not. If they charge all the same I can carry the smallest if not Ill throw the biggest one in my bag. All I have to buy is a $25 usb c to lightning cable to me that beats the wireless charging since I already have the bricks.

My CC was charged for my 8+ 256, but nothing on my.t-mobile yet. Not bovvered, but I do kind of miss the international travelogue of ordering through Apple. (Picked up in Shanghai, flew to Alaska, flew to Seattle, flew to Kentucky, flew to Connecticut, loaded on a truck and driven to Hyannis...) There was a "Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street" quality to being able to watch the whole journey.

Awesome! That’s what I did...as we are still super early in the shipping process since only a label has been created thus far. Fingers crossed it works out. If it does, I will get my new iPhone at least 5-6 hours earlier at my work instead of at home.
