So my phone was delivered this afternoon but being that I'm at work UPS is delivering to the nearest UPS access point.. Looks like I won't have it in hand until tomorrow evening

Ok so good news: I got my phone, and I love the gold it’s amazing :p

Bad news: I knew it was too weird that the preorder went so smoothly. Long story short, the rep I ordered with over the phone didn’t do a JOD like he was supposed to...so I have to send my new 8+ back to them and I had to order a whole new one in store and they’re sending that one. So right now I’m paying for 2 phones; my 7+ and 8+

Honestly I’m so confused I don’t even understand fully how they messed up. But it never fails that every year they do lol

Out for delivery since 330am and here we are at 4pm in Scottsdale AZ. Zzzzz
Where I live, UPS goes out for delivery around 8/8:30am and packages don’t arrive until 6pm or later lol

Anyone else waiting for activation? My iMessage and FaceTime are waiting for activation and when I try to make a phone call it goes straight to T-Mobile customer service. Waiting for a call back from T-Mobile.

I’m having a similar issue with my phone not activating. It doesn’t even know my number. I had to enter it manually. Phone won’t accept texts and is waiting for activation for iMessage.

I just joined Tmobile last week and brought my ATT iPhone 6s. Tmobile put their SIM card in it and that was my phone for a week.

My new iPhone came today and was ordered from Tmobile. So it should be all set up, shouldn’t it? I wouldn’t think I need to switch out the SIM card. Or if I do need to, I would think they prominently mention that!

Switch the SIM card.

And here we are back again!!!

Congratulations to all the new iPhone 8 Users

I had a great time last year over here. iPhone 7 Plus it was. It was a long waiting game but we all enjoyed our moments.

--

So in short, iPhone 7 Plus 32GB Gold (Sim-Free) purchased from Apple.com and it took around 25 days to receive the shipment.

This time I'm ready for the Pre Order for iPhone X 64GB Silver (T-Mobile)

As I'm from India and I need GSM Network so I'm ok with T-Mobile GSM. If I am not wrong, you need to pay the full amount and you get unlocked iPhone and there's no requirement for any kind of activation. I checked with Apple via Chat Support and I'm glad to say that it still remains the same way.

I wanted to know that should I order from Apple.com or T-Mobile's Website? which one ships faster as my Uncle will be leaving from New York to India around 2nd week of December.

Thanks and good luck with iPhone 8/8+ Orders and Pre-Order for iPhone X

I don't know if this has changed but I was in your same position with the iphone 6 . As I recall, the one that came unlocked (unofficially) out of the box was the T-Mobile version that was sold directly from Apple and not the one bought straight from T-Mobile. Again, maybe things have changed now but back then that was what was happening.

It is making popping sounds while I talk on it.
Now that you mention that I think mine was doing that earlier today. I’m being sent a new one though since Tmobile sent me this one as an EIP instead of JOD...like it should have been. No clue how they messed that up.

Why on earth do they have to send you a new phone in order to correct that mistake? Seems silly.

Walked into a T-Mobile store today and got an space gray 64G iPhone 8+ on EIP with Jump and apple care. It’s the last one they have according to them, I don’t doubt them since two stores near me all sold out already. I took advantage of the $300 trade in, what’s good about this particular store is they gave me $118 up front and the rest via monthly credit, other stores I’ve talked to only do 24 monthly credit for the entire $300. I was gonna wait for the X but my new phone itch really gotten to me. Oh well, I can Jump to an X if I pay off half of the phone, we’ll see.
