@Itconnects Yes, the card was working before in an MacPro7,1
but at that time I tried it in an other slot and just wanted to compare the card
built-in in other slots and also without the I/O card at all.
Video from an 5.1 :
Not at the moment. Will do one if I have access to it in my private rooms.
Or one of the guys who get one of the cards will send one over for a upload.
These Video was just made to proof that the firmware is perfect in every way.
I cant test all the tech world wide available but this video proofs that its fully functional.
Of course the macpro5,1 needs addiotional stuff besides from the firmware itself
but the MacPro7,1 needs the files also otherwise hotplug would not work if the card is placed in a different slot.
The Injection process is needed since Apple hardcode PCIe Slots...
or in the Case of the MacPro5,1 never handled things like that,
but this is not related to our solution, its related because Apple never invented the machine
the way we actually use it for such stuff and thats why we have to fix them different.
1) I recommend at least High Sierra or even better Mojave installed for it.
2) OpenCore is also important and necessary for it since this will fix most of the issues Apple messed up back then (EFI wise) and its also needed for hotplug since we inject the macpro5.1 properties,
which it usually would never load on this slot or better to say for this card at all.
Dont get panic - everything will be good and we will write a How To for it.
@TerminalStrip - UAD was always a no brainer - also without our custom solution.
I cant try Antelope and to be honest and I dont want to buy every tech available out there just because people ask.
If the card works perfect in a MacPro7,1 no matter which slot, which Device and also with my hackintosh machines, I dont see any reason why it should make problems on different devices
but at the end of the day I cant guarantee the people anything besides of the fact that the Firmware is perfect.
If problems acures they are not related to our work !
