at least you guys don't get ripped off for products as much as we do in Europe
Lighting, polish, and lighting, baby. I'm typing this on a Mini right now. The edge between the top and sides might be bevelled more, but there's enough material there to perform that modification on a current Mini. My Mini has 2.5 years of accumulated grime on it, dulling the finish, and was much shinier when new.
I know there are some really dedicated rumors fans (me included) but really .
Some guy even said the other day that monthy had gotten a CNC machine and fabricated an entire new shell ,just for the video
.Photoshopping is one thing , turning aluminum on a CNC is , well -completely different! , now it may be so and I'll have to eat humble pie , but doubt it's the case (pun intended)
If he's really done that , a week off is required and the guy needs to get out more, somehow though I doubt it.
@monthy : if your still around please sort this bickering out and prove what's going on. Please, I cannee take anymore of this .

Well the 3G iPhone pictures looked like they were taken in an industrial setting. Also it's usually a rumour site and a source, not a forum and a new member behind leaked photos. Finally I have very serious doubts that Apple would be behind this kind of rumour. In the end we buy their products because of the amazing engineering done by them - from enclosures to software.
Maybe someone at apple is using "leaks" for some cheep feedback. I can imagine that there is a lot of product development testing going on at apple and not only since yesterday. Maybe Steve has been working on developing an Apple business model that works without him, and one day he will be remembered for developing that, and not for creating the iPod and iMac. Maybe the rumour leaks are just side affects from that process.
Well with or without industrial Apple products, there is a lot we can learn from company.
Does anyone remember what supposedly inspired Steve to design a simple and quite computer? I don't think Apple ever particularly cared about selling computers to people who understood them and cared how many USB ports a computer has, they just make sure that the computer is just right for what most of there clients need the computer for.
I find that iTunes has far longer to start up when the music library is on a external drive. There are also complications with backup since I can't have my music library on my time machine backup drive - so I would need two external drives next to my mini. so I would need that Apple BTO option. Okay not really necessary, but if I didn't care about usability and how my computer looks all set up, well I would get myself a PC. (having issues using my airport extreme for music library and backup
)
