SAME!I’ll have everything crossed for you. Millwall is my least favourite team.
Supporting a Chelsea victory tonight, is an unusual position in which to find oneself, I must admit; generally, I prefer to see them get stuffed, if only as a morality lesson that money cannot be expected to buy everything.Currently a goal down against Forest. I’m not sure anything less than a win will be good enough.
Glad Antonio is back playing. Just needs to find his shooting boots.
I’m sure @Lord Blackadder and @Scepticalscribe will be cheering on Chelsea later this evening.
Given their position below us a Man City win would suit me better.
Still not fully sold on Havertz; goals are nice, but scoring the fifth in a game you have won is not quite the same as putting away a snatched opportunity (with competence and conviction) in a tense and closely fought game where such opportunities are infrequent.21 league goals in 5 games including Havertz + clean sheets + GD.
Will savour this period. Long may this form continue.
Pains me to say, but Burnley should probably have let Kompany go. He hasn't adapted to the levels of the EPL.
This is true.Phillips just been shown red. Can we send him back to City? He’s been awful for us since he arrived.
He did score the winner against Brentford.Still not fully sold on Havertz; goals are nice, but scoring the fifth in a game you have won is not quite the same as putting away a snatched opportunity (with competence and conviction) in a tense and closely fought game where such opportunities are infrequent.
Never mind.
A happy Gunner here, and a five nil victory is nothing to sneeze at, and will certainly add further to our goal difference.
Nick Hornby (in Fever Pitch, which is still a superb book, even if you are not an Arsenal fan), wrote that the suffering was the point of being a supporter.I think I’ll give up watching football. Maybe tidily winks would be better.
My sympathies. Not a happy Hammer at all.
There only one claret and blue Army! Unfortunately they have the backbone of a jellyfish and the bite of a marshmallow in attack of late.Nick Hornby (in Fever Pitch, which is still a superb book, even if you are not an Arsenal fan), wrote that the suffering was the point of being a supporter.

It just occurred to me today, (and this is idiotic; I have been watching football for decades), that Burnley, Crystal Palace, West Ham, (and, for that matter, Aston Villa) have remarkably similar - almost identical - home kits.
You have injuries. There only one claret and blue Army! Unfortunately they have the backbone of a jellyfish and the bite of a marshmallow in attack of late.
I read an interesting article yesterday. Basically explaining the main issue he has.You have injuries.
And, I note that the anti-Moyes crowd are sharpening their attack pencils yet again.
Just because he is resolutely Old School, doesn't mean that he hasn't been a very good manager for West Ham.
I do not want to be the bearer of bad news but you will be in arguments with Villa fans then because Villa was the first one from that list to introduce the claret and blue way back in 1888, a good 10-12 years before West Ham adapted the colours. Villa Fans will also say out of all of them in that list they are the more prestigious club to wear the claret and blue because they have more trophies than any of the other clubs and more prestigious trophies as well. Prince William is a Villa supporter, I wonder what it be like to argue those points with him? lolThere only one claret and blue Army! Unfortunately they have the backbone of a jellyfish and the bite of a marshmallow in attack of late.
Yes, the style he coaches is not at all fashionable (and will gegenpressing still be the dominant style and preferred tactic played in a decade? I very much doubt it).I read an interesting article yesterday. Basically explaining the main issue he has.
Because he plays a very negative style, when we win it’s okay. But when we lose it’s not only the loss but the negativity he has to contend with.
In other words fans are more forgiving when they see the team going for it but still end up losing.
We have one of the worst possession per game record in Europe. Yet we are actually the most successful team with such a poor possession record.
I’m not sure Moyes will be offered a contract extension tbh.
Graham Potter has been linked with the role quite a bit.
Obviously the fans have forgotten how his style of football got them winning a European trophy.I read an interesting article yesterday. Basically explaining the main issue he has.

Well I’m thankful that no royals are associated with West Ham. Can’t stand them.I do not want to be the bearer of bad news but you will be in arguments with Villa fans then because Villa was the first one from that list to introduce the claret and blue way back in 1888, a good 10-12 years before West Ham adapted the colours. Indeed.Obviously the fans have forgotten how his style of football got them winning a European trophy.
Yes we certainly aren’t exactly watching over our shoulders at the relegation spots (as we have under many under other managers at times).Yes, the style he coaches is not at all fashionable (and will gegenpressing still be the dominant style and preferred tactic played in a decade? Yes, the negativity (in football, not character, Moyes is no Mourinho), is neither fashionable nor stylish, but, it suits West Ham with the football resources (in other words, players) that they currently have at their disposal.
More to the point, under Moyes, I would argue that West Ham have had more success (including trophies, and qualifying for Europe) than at any time since the legendary times (and team) of the Sixties, and, even now, with a few defeats, the team lies eighth in the Premier League.
I forgot to add that I believe Villa donated old kit to us when we were formed which is why we wear claret and blue.I do not want to be the bearer of bad news but you will be in arguments with Villa fans then because Villa was the first one from that list to introduce the claret and blue way back in 1888, a good 10-12 years before West Ham adapted the colours. How do you feel about ex US president Barack Obama being a fan? According to those in the know, he got to liken the club due to English relatives he has. Apparently is stems from a visit he made to the UK to visit his England based half sister. During his stay his English relatives talked up how good the fan base of West Ham is and Obama being a sports nuts took a fancy to the club.Well I’m thankful that no royals are associated with West Ham. Can’t stand them.
