The third kit is lovely, agreed, and, personally, I would love to see it replace the psycheledic grotesque horror - that is our second kit for this season.
Oh dearLooks like City are not pursuing their interest in Paqueta. Happy if he stays. We need a full strength midfield with the PL and Europa League trophies to win this year….😜
Oh dear indeed. Not good at all.Oh dear
Lucas Paqueta: West Ham midfielder under investigation over potential betting breaches
West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta is being investigated by the Football Association for potential betting rule breaches, sources confirm to the BBC.www.bbc.co.uk
I've actually seen those around London. I think there's a decent following who like it.The third kit is lovely, agreed, and, personally, I would love to see it replace the psycheledic grotesque horror - that is our second kit for this season.
I like the shorts...
Why would she? Apart from the salary increase it would be like stepping down from the Premier League to the Championship. Why manage a bunch of overpaid prima donnas who roll around on the floor all the time?Sarina Wiegman would not be allowed to manage a men's team because men would not allow it. There is way to much misoginia within men's football. Look at how many men in the game, many of them high profile have been caught out disparaging womens football. It is my opinion that if Ms Wiegman was given a shot at managing a men's football team there would be elements within the game that would see to it that she failed.
I’d be happy to draw with Chelsea tomorrow. Especially as they’ve spent another £150 million this week!Moving from a team we always draw against (Chelsea) to one we never draw against (Bournemouth). So if nothing else I expect a more decisive result this week.

I think that many would hold a similar view.I’d be happy to draw with Chelsea tomorrow.
They have spent close to a billion pounds - £1 billion is an eye-watering and jaw dropping sum - on players since the beginning of this year.Especially as they’ve spent another £150 million this week!
I don’t think Arsenal are far behind. You’ve spent the second or third highest I believe. But yes Chelsea have managed a tremendous amount of transfers.I think that many would hold a similar view.

Only state owned clubs can afford to spend more.
We have bought three (one of whom, most unfortunately, is already out injured, an injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the best part of the entire season from what I can gather) and are in the process of selling some.I don’t think Arsenal are far behind. Attitudes change, and thus, over time, times also change.Sarina Wiegman would not be allowed to manage a men's team because men would not allow it. Injuries could well decide the title. KDB is a bigger lose for City than Timber is for you imo. But hard to say. But City have more strength in depth. We have bought three (one of whom, most unfortunately, is already out injured, an injury that will keep him on the sidelines for the best part of the entire season from what I can gather) and are in the process of selling some.
Raya and Rice both look to have excellent buys, and I'm delighted that those transfers went through.
Mind you, I do feel for Liverpool, having been gazumped - twice - by Chelsea, in recent weeks.
That had happened to us (also twice) in January, as you may recall.
City have much more strength in depth, and a bottomless wallet or purse with which to pursue players who may fill whatever gaps the team has currently.Injuries could well decide the title. I honestly do not understand why Maguire failed (or refused) to take advantage of the opportunity to move to West Ham, where he would have been guaranteed first team football, and would have made a good fit with the way that Moyes has chosen to construct the team.Meanwhile Utd name two goalkeepers in their substitutes and no space for McGuire.
He should have come to The London Stadium. We would have found him a spot.
Indeed. Who knows he may have been club captain after a time. But there you go. He’s earn’d more money this week than I will in the next 5 years and hasn’t even had to work on Saturday!City have much more strength in depth, and a bottomless wallet or purse with which to pursue players who may fill whatever gaps the team has currently.

I think Arsenal and Chelsea have strengthened. But yes I still see City as favourites.Even without KDB I still consider Man City as strong favorites for the title by a good margin. None of the other possible contenders look so much stronger than last season that I see them seriously challenging.
Second kitThe third kit, or second kit?
The second kit appals me, and worse, is - to my bespectacled eye - an excruciating embarrassment.

Alack and alas, but I find myself in agreement with you both.I think Arsenal and Chelsea have strengthened. But yes I still see City as favourites.
