I'm pretty much checking out the S5 for kicks. I have the Note 3, had some other Samsung smartphones and some of their tablets. My doctor is advising some different medicine as a remedy at this point for my addiction. I enjoyed the M7 and miss it but I'll see what he thinks about a relapse if I go with the M8! Maybe I can sneak it past him!
Have had one for 5 hours now, i have gone from a 5S, Note 3, and Moto G to a HTC one M8 in last 3 weeks. No more Samsung for me one was enough.
This phone is Fast, as soon as i picked it up i knew it was good. Feels great in the hand and is just quality, way better to hold than 5S naked, no sharp edges.
Screen is great.
Double tap to open is great especially in the car holder.
Speaker is great, call quality and volume is good, Moto G was softer.
Its not as slippery as the reviews better than 5S, the included case fits good.
Haven't tried the camera yet.
Used about 50% in 5 hours with all the setting up and playing around, plus calls. So is looking good.
My first HTC and liking it so far, will be hanging onto this one.
