I'm still using the Artwizz case, I'm liking it still...

isn't it annoying having to pull it out of the case to answer a call?

not really.

It's a holster. It's like adding a pocket to your beltloop. I just don't like keeping my phone in my pocket. Broke an old phone like that.

With this holster I can remove the iphone one handed, just push up on the bottom and pull it out. :D

i have the incase folio as well and its a great pouch. But im trying to find a really better pouch to carry the iphone in, does anyone have any suggestions ? The apple store near me had a Diesel pouch but only in brown, i would love to find black can any tell me where i can find that ? i tried the net and no signs of it but the apple store has them lol
anyway i just want a nice pouch with a magnet closure this time around. Velcro seems to wear out and its also noisey

Vaja leather case for iPhone

I've had Vaja cases for phones for years. Best leather cases available. Very high quality. Go to vajacase.com.

Wowwwwww

Sorry, but ... does that say Calf Skin? I don't think - in a million years - that I would want a dead baby cow's skin surrounding my cell phone. That is just... talk about inhumane... wow. :( Why not hire a slave to carry it around for you while you're at it?

Ummmmm, if it says calf skin it probably isnt real. WOWWWWWWWWW. :( Disapoints me that me have people that not smart in this world. I wonder if ur serious about this. Hmmmm

There are many calf skin products. And anything done to a calf isn't inhumane.
At the worst it's inbovine.

here's my take...

I just bought a few cases trying them out and the best one is:

iSkin "Revo" unit since it's pretty much as thin as the phone itself had has easy access to all the buttons. also the rubber texture and color makes it easy to grip and find :)

I also bought a Speck case which sounded good on advertisement being alcantara and leather but it's WAY too THICK once all done.

Imho

I've owned 7 or 8 cases now for my iphone and thought I'd weigh in.

I think that my overall favorites right now would have to be the crystal film in conjunction with the Incase Slider or crystal film in conjunction with the Griffin Wave ( I buy cases like they are going out of style).

Each has a really nice design aesthetic that stands out without being over-the-top.

When I purchase the new iPhone 3G, I'll buy whichever refreshed version of the Wave or Slider is available. I'd give the nod to the polished black Incase slider for the black iPhone 3G only because the look of the finish is so similar between device and case. I'll most certainly pick up the film as well.

Cases i've owned (all used with crystal film):
Some original Belkin flip case that I returned immediately
Power Support Crystal Jacket (meh design)
Incase rubber case (stretched out)
Refreshed Incase rubber case that didn't stretch (got tired of)
iSkin Revo (great for working out...too bulky)
Agent 18 Eco Shield (nice and slim, unremarkable)
Griffin Wave (stylish, small footprint)
Incase Slider (stylish, has a bit of an "it" quality)

Been reading this thread since I will be moving to a 3G. I have an ipod touch with incase slider. Dropped it yesterday from less than waist high. Piece of junk cracked in half. Back to silicon or rubber for me. Shame, cause it looked great otherwise.

Core Case Aluminum

Hey... quick question.
Does anybody have the core case aluminum slider? I'd like to know about how it protects the phone, if it will accept a screen cover (i.e. one of those static cling films), and any general comments about it.

Thanks.

I may GO WITH THIS for the 3g or take another chance with the clear or black slider. I really didn't like how delicate the slider is. Broke after one drop. Otherwise, the inCase is really sleek.

I have had good results with my white InCase slider. Haven't dropped it quite as far as others, but it has taken a few minor spills. Plus the white shows no finger prints. My wife has the rubber InCase and already it seems to be stretching out. I am a fan of the hard cases. I have also taken the case off periodically to see if there has been any damage or scratches to the phone itself. Other than a couple streak marks from the rubber on the inside of the case (which are easily wiped away), no scratches or marks!

I would purchase another InCase Slider if I were upgrading to the new 3G phone. Great case!

CORECASE Aluminum Slider

So, let me clarify... Does anyone have experience with the CORECASE Aluminum slider, not the incase plastic slider, that they would like to share...

does the incase slider come with a holster clip? if not does anyone have any recommendations for a case that comes with a belt clip?

Thank you in advance,

Anthony

I am looking for a case that can withstand an occassional drop and a backpack full of books. I prefer to leave the case on all of the time and that it protects the entire phone. I care more about functionality than asthetics. Anybody have suggestions???

I currently use this case http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS556LL/A?fnode=home/shop_iphone/iphone_accessories/cases&mco=MTM1MDE0MQ&p=1&s=topSellers but its not easy to get the phone out for docking purposes. I am considering this one instead http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS480VC/A?fnode=home/shop_iphone/iphone_accessories/cases&mco=MTI5OTQxOA simply for the easy dock feature (it is essentially the same otherwise).

I have also considered the vaja and sena pouches, although I would like to hear from someone about how difficult it is to take the phone out, as you would have to do that a lot with a pouch.

Comments?

I think the Vaja Classic retro dockable maybe exactly what I've been looking for. Pretty outlandish price though. Anyone have one of these for the original iphone? I wonder how long til its released in a 3G model....

Im thinkin the iskin revo2. It comes with a case, as well as a cover for the front. Im thinkin about this one. Incase slider is taking way too long.
