I currently use this case http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS556LL/A?fnode=home/shop_iphone/iphone_accessories/cases&mco=MTM1MDE0MQ&p=1&s=topSellers but its not easy to get the phone out for docking purposes. I am considering this one instead http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS480VC/A?fnode=home/shop_iphone/iphone_accessories/cases&mco=MTI5OTQxOA simply for the easy dock feature (it is essentially the same otherwise).

I have also considered the vaja and sena pouches, although I would like to hear from someone about how difficult it is to take the phone out, as you would have to do that a lot with a pouch.

Comments?
Joined just to reply to this. Anyway, I have the second case you listed, the one with the Easy Dock. Don't get it, the case is just a cheap plastic that looks like it'd easily crack/break after a couple falls. While the Easy Dock feature is nice, this case really doesn't do much as far as protection goes.

Do any of these cases really prevent the screen from cracking if the iPhone would fall right on the screen? Doesn't seem like there is a lot of protection on the front side from any of these manufacturers (besides film to prevent scratches).

I pulled my iPod touch out of my pocket one day to see that there was a major crack in the screen. I think I had forgotten it in my pocket and took a nap on the couch, putting a lot of pressure on it or something... But that was completely heartbreaking. I could never look at the touch the same again! I was devastated. Now I'm waiting for my iPhone 3g to get here from at&t and I'm looking for a case that will definitely protect the screen from pressure/drops without being too bulky. Any ideas?

this is probably more an "accessories" post, but here's the one I ordered:

iPhone Strada Case (Black Calfskin)

product_thumb.php

I like it because mostly there seem to be 2 types of cases: 1) cases that protect your phone when you carry it (and you need to take the phone out and 2) cases that you leave on all the time.

The ones that you leave on all the time I just didn't like because they seem to destroy the aesthetics of the iPhone.

The ones you just carry the phone in I didn't like because I wanted some protection in case I dropped it.

This Orbino case seemed like the perfect trade off between aesthetics and protection.

I also ordered a set of crystal film from apple to protect the screen because I am not sure I like Orbino's screen protection.

i have this on both iphones an ipod and love it.!!

I've finally found a leather iphone pouch for 3G or iphone 2G thats oozes quality. Its 100% leather and hand made. The Super Slim from iconic edge. It's without doubt the best pouch I've had. They ship worldwide too.

Hi there, i hope someone can help me. Last week i found a website that had cool cases for the iphone, but i can't remember the name of it!!

I know that they had a lot of different colours (blue yellow, pink, green....) and a cool red case with a circle cut out at the back for the apple logo, there were some circles in the case itself.

I think they also had some glow in the dark and some camouflage cases.

Does that ring a bell to anyone?

Thanks

Griffin Clarifi VS. Incase Slider?

I just got my new iPhone, and based on the reviews here I'm planning to get the Incase Slider.
Does anyone have a good comparison of the slider case and the Griffin Clarifi? I want a good looking case that will protect my phone, but I also like the idea of the lens.

I'm definitely getting an Invisible Shield. Have been using them for several years, and I seriously won't buy a device without getting one. I don't see why people use any other screen protectors still.
Edit: I'm assuming the Incase isn't too tight a fit for an iPhone with an Invisible Shield? Anyone who has both please let me know. Also, does the white one get dirty and grungy, or does it stay that perfect white?
Last question, has anyone had an experience of the durability and protectiveness of either of these cases (slider or clarifi)? Anyone dropped their phone? I just don't want it to break, and I read one review that mentioned a cracked slidercase.

I have a custom made case made from baby cow leather and covered in kitten fur, I have my name spelt on it made from elephant tusks and they are secured to my case using sloth fur. The edges are made from rhino skin because it is very though. It is then soaked in puppy tears for no reason.

I like it :D

Link? Where can I get one too?

LOL!!!!

Did you end up finding a case to meet your needs? This is my exact worry and I'm currently looking for a case.

THanks

That switcheasy case of the rebelblack looks pretty good. Got any pictures of your iphone with the case on? :D

I believe you are talking about the SGP Ultrathin iPhone 3G Case.

I think I am going to buy one in red.
I like it because it does not bulk up the phone.
The big fat cases might offer more drop protection but they destroy the whole look and feel of the iPhone.
Just got to be careful and not abuse it that's all.

Switcheasy Capsule Neo
I have both Colors and it does protect the phone, dropped mine from 3 feet onto pavement and nothing happened, case still looks alright and it SLID plus it compliments the aesthetics of the phone. Keeps it SEXY

@ Ms.Zagg

We don't appreciate spam and unauthorised advertising on these forums!

You joined a couple of hours ago and have already made 6 posts, all proclaiming the benefits of the Invisible Shield.

The reputation of Zagg was badly damaged recently by the faulty initial design of the iPhone 3G skin and the poor customer service and prolonged delivery schedules at the time of the release of that version of the iPhone.

You do nothing to redeem that reputation by seeking to use these forums as free advertising space for your employer's products, however much you may believe in them.

for one, im not advertising or spamming and not telling anyone to buy. i have just as much right to post my opinion as anyone else and that is all i have done. I dont think the amount of posts i have made tells someone im a spammer. im a real person who really loves a product and im simply giving an opinion im sorry you feel otherwise. we released a new version of the iphone after the faults of the first one anyway we sold over 80,000 invisibleSHIELD's for the iphone so of course there would be a delay in shipping. we are still growing as a company and i would hope a shipping delay would not be a decision in how the product works.
Many people read these forums to obtain objective and unbiased opinions about products from people who have bought or tried the products and who have no connections to the manufacturer or retailer, or other vested interest.

If you are expressing an opinion about products that your employer manufactures and sells it is only fair that you openly decare that you work for the company in every such post that you make.

i have declared on my posts that i DO work for Zagg. i don't have to hide that but i have also stated that i had the invisibleSHIELD before i worked here and i am giving my opinion as a customer not just an employee. I think if i have an opinion and i work here i also have a way to help people with problems with their invisibleSHIELD i dont need to advertise im not trying to get anyone to buy im trying to voice my opinion and be a point of contact for people to actually get their problem with the invisibleSHIELD fixed or questions answered. who better to ask then an employee and customer? see what im sayin?

There is no mention whatsoever in posts 402 and 403 above (your first two posts in this thread) that you are an employee of Zagg.

You have now declared your position so we know where we stand.

In view of what you say, am I right to assume that I can now contact you directly in relation to a product complaint that has not been addressed adequately by your colleagues?
