Hi,

You are fresh from the ivyskin Quattro wars I gather :) :)

Man oh man that was a good $50 flushed down the proverbial toilet. It sucked so badly that I wouldn't even sell it on eBay because I'm sure the new owner would have given me bad feedback.

I have spent a small fortune trying to find the Nirvana of iPhone cases.

The Piel Frama so far is IT.

But, I'll ALWAYS be looking.

Orangedog,

Thanks for the reply. What really turned me off that thread were the seeming appearance of Ivyskin shills/fan bois. If you were to question the quality to them you *had* to be a competitor or, alternatively, not in your right senses.

I will have a look at Piel Frama again although so far I am quite happy with my Sena Leatherskin.

For 1st gen ... check out SEIDIO ... always receive compliments on my maroon colored case

Here's something for you, I KNOW you'll find useful! :)

I have a Ph.D, but alas I have always been challenged when it comes to There, Their & They're. The best thing about being challenged with something like this, is that it doesn't ever give me the sh#ts, just others who read my wording :)

My new favorite case is the seidio inocase 2 it is a really nice looking case seems very sold just as thin as a rubber case but has the hard protection and you can see the apple logo! it covers all the chrome and everyone I show it to thinks its such a nice case. I have been using the switch easy rebel for a while and loved it but this case doesn't even compare its so much cooler and nicer you should def check it out!

i really like the iskin cases for the iphone 1st gen.

right now on the iskin website the iskin revo is on sale for 29.99 which looks like a great case. On the other hand the iskin fuze sounds like a great investment because of the dual layers.

just looking for some reviews on which is "better" than the other...

thanks in advanced

All in fun, believe me. :D

I always favour a screen protector or thin film skin, coupled with a sock or simple pouch. That way, when you use your iPhone you can appreciate the curves and real beauty of the device.

whats the deal with Core Cases? Anyone ever had to deal with returning an item to them?
2 unanswered phone calls and 2 unanswered emails for an RMA number to return a case I recieved defective from them
time to call my credit card company I guess

These look to be the coolest cases around.

"LAB picks up where Speck’s uniquely blocky ToughSkin and PixelSkin cases left off, which is why it’s fitting that Speck won a Best of Show Award for CandyShell ($35), the newest evolution of its plastic case designs. Initially available for the iPhone 3G, CandyShell combines a soft rubber interior with a hard, glossy plastic outside, interestingly mixing colors and materials to provide almost complete protection for the iPhone; it also, finally, includes iPhone 3G face protection in the form of a screen shield. I'll definitely pick one up.

These look really nice, i'm sold.

I'm extremely happy with the Incase Slider.

well for some reason i cant get away from having a white slider, it seems like the best case around. Its the only white case that does not appear dirty due to its glossy finish. I did try the feather in white and it looked like my auto mechanic used my phone after one day.

If i get a white slider what is the "improved" model sku# and also does anyone know of a leather belt clip pouch that it will fit into comfy? I really doubt it will fit in my incase folio. thanks

Has anyone else tried out this case? i posted in other thread but no response.
Really nice cases just like incase

I looked at the pictures on the site and, obviously to differentiate themselves from the plethora of similar style cases, they have decided to leave the front bottom and front top of the case exposed. This clearly seems to be a matter of form over function and something I would avoid.
