New to this forum. Received Ipod Touch 2G for Christmas and considering the purchase of Vaja i-Volution Top case. According to previous posts, there have been a few problems with uneven stripes on SP model due to Vaja insigia placement. Think I'll avoid SP and go with the GT since the insignia placement is outside of the two stripes altogether. Anyone familiar with Candlelight Peach (color chart looks more "pink" than "peach").

Just got the Seidio Innocase.

Ive ordered this case and really cant wait for it to come...

I've got the incase and I dig it so far. Flattens out the back a little bit and it makes me feel like the phone is safer, but still ergonomical.....isn't that what it's all about?

I've been using the Incipio Gel that I bought at the AT&T store when I bought the phone.

It's extremely lightweight, keeps the feel of the shape of the phone, and is as protective as I can want.

I use the IS for the front. I'm very happy with my setup.

Element case?

Hey...this is a great thread! I just found it today as I was looking for iPhone cases, but noticed this thread started in 2007 and has a ton of great info!

Ok, on to my question. I found this website for Element Case and watched some youtube reviews on it and it looks like it might work for me.
- I don't mind a little bit of bulkiness as long as it still has style and provides protection
- is something that allows me to throw in my purse (with a bunch of keys, coins, etc) or in my camelbak (I mountain bike) without worrying

The bonus is that I can get a custom design! (ooo...a bike-related design!)

Anyways, anyone here have one of these? I'd love to get more feedback before I make my decision and order one.

Thanks!

I always favour a screen protector or thin film skin, coupled with a sock or simple pouch. That way, when you use your iPhone you can appreciate the curves and real beauty of the device.

Agree. My pouch from Sena is perfect for me. The leather feels so good. and the iphone is nearly scratchless

Hello, im new to these boards but have been reading for a while now.

I have around 10 cases and i really enjoy the Incase Sliders.
But recently, i purchased the Griffin Reflect case and absolutely love it. It looks really cool and doesnt add much bulk. The smoked chrome contour looks great and the back has a nice rubbery feel to it without the lint catching problems. (It feels a bit like the black mat Incase slider)
The back is also a bit transparent so you see the Apple logo through the black mat finish. It also comes with a screen shield and a good sized cleaning cloth. Very well done Griffin.

iSkin Fuze

has anyone tried the iskin fuze

Yes, mine arrived today. I took it out of the box and was very disappointed. I tried it out anyway and then took it off and requested an RMA number from iSkin.

I haven't seen these cases in the shops. On the website it looks really nice and slick and an enhancement to the phone. In reality it is a bulky plastic yuk. With it on my iPhone and a video playing it looked like a scaled down 1960s wood panel TV. Horrid.

It's like making a supermodel dress in a balaclava, snow-suit and jack-boots.

My search for a nice case continues ...

There are so many different kinds of iPhone case now and some of them are pretty pricey. I found this website http://cretouch.com and they have variety of quality cases at affordable price. I personally pick Ultra Slim Leather Grip Case in Green as the best iPhone 3G case out there in market. Here's the picture.

Reminds me of the Vaja iVolution Grip but at a third of the cost. I wonder how well it actually holds onto the iPhone or if the case will just pop off at first impact.

I use the Incipio skinny case. It was pretty reasonable at less than $20 shipped and came with a front clear protective cover.

Previously I used an Incase slider case on my iPhone original.
Then I purchased it again for my 3G and boy was that a bad idea. I must have been one of the first to purchase it because it was not ready to be used on my 3G. I literally had to crack it to get it off my phone nearly breaking it in the process.I sure hope they fixed this since then.Because of that I switched to the Incipio case and couldn't be happier.

Switch Easy Capsule Neo

I finally bought the Capsule Neo from SwitchEasy. It's nice looking and doesn't make the phone like a big block. It comes with a nice rubbery liner so the phone doesn't get scratched (although my :apple: is already scuffed).

I picked up the Switcheasy Capsule Neo in black for myself and white for my wife mated with the BSE skin.

Fantastic protection, but it is a bit on the bulky side. My wife's white case has stains that I cant seem to remove, but the black is holding up just fine.

Purchased them both from ebay for $20/shipped each - imo a great deal on a great case.

I have one of these. It's definitely a nice case, but it does add quite a bit of bulk. The nice thing about it though, is that the design makes it feel REALLY nice to hold in your hand. It is also clearly extremely well made and manufactured. I also like the fact that you can choose to either use it with the protective cover or without.

My only problem with it is that there is no belt holster option, and it's too big to fit in my pocket. If you are going to be throwing it in a bag/purse, then it's a perfect case! Hope you enjoy it. Feel free to PM me if you have anymore specific questions

I tried a clear one from the Apple Store (Contour maybe?), returned it, then got the Griffin iClear, then swapped with someone for the Agent 18 Slim case, and finally decided I wasn't a big fan of the clear plastic cases (or cases that stay on all the time). I had a Griffin iClear for my iPod touch, and thought it was perfect, but I can't seem to find one I'm happy with for the iPhone 3G. I decided to bite the bullet and go with the Hard Graft (old Working Class Heroes) Dapper case. I loved the look of the wool and leather, and the fact that it's a bit different than most cases out there.
