The Best Case is Protection Protection!!!

The Best we have seen on the Market is the MarWare Case which is leather and covers the whole iPhone? Only made for the 3G/3Gs. We have done several repairs for iPhones and reccomend these or a Hard Case that protects the Whole phone.

Kind Regards:):)

Just bought the Griffin Elan form Chrome from Amazon for $21.37.

If anyone wants to buy an Otterbox, I bought one... Took it out of the box, decided I didn't want to keep it, and put it back in the box.

I have a pink one I bought for my wife, and a solid black one.

$30/piece for either of them.

iSkin Solo FX SE Onyx

iSkin Solo FX SE Onyx on a black iPhone.

I got this today and it's already my favourite case.

sorry to ask, but can someone simply explain the diff types of cases and protection available for the iphone? the market seems saturated and i dont know what to do. just got the phone today. seems very fragile and sensitive,

so i mean do apple recommend any kind of protection?

i tend to throw around my phone in my dirty bag and car and carry in pocket. my nokia took some wear and tear and handled it very well. iphone doesnt look as strong, and i dont wanna test it either as its so expensive.

so im looking for protection in case i drop the phone on the floor.
also do we need to protect the screen from everyday use/dust build up?

or is phone best used with nothing on the screen?

im thinking maybe a full case that flips open to reveal the naked screen.
so when its closed, the whole phone is protected. i live in a dusty environment so....

thanks.

oh and i def dont want a case that scratches the phone, as ill be selling it on once i decide to buy a diff/new model in future.

You don't have to protect the screen (especially if you have a case that goes over the chrome since a fall won't shatter the screen). However, you seem to throw the thing around and not be careful about what it is being carried around in. You will probably scratch the screen. You'll probably want a film to put over it to prevent scratches.

If you want something that flips, go ahead. There are a lot of leather cases available that would fit the bill. The problem is that once you take it out of the carrying case you may still drop it and it isn't protected. If you want a tight fitting shell then get one with a film for the screen.

I just got one of those .5mm thick clear cases from iPhonecaze.com and i wasn't took happy, on top of that they ship from hong kong and took two weeks to arrive the case(clear) gets these air pockets or moisture pockets on the back which makes it look like it has liquid between the case and the back of the phone(i know it doesn't have liquid.) The case comes with these little plastic see through stickies that you're suppose to apply to the back of the phone, so when you apply these it looks like you have a phone with razor cuts, these stickies are suppose to help with the air pockets that look like water spots.

I'll stick to my case-mate grey case, very durable, great quality, no chipping of the paint coating...Great!

can you even fit that thing in your pocket? I guess to each his own..

Easily... I don't use the clip holder part at all... the phone pops out of it too easily.

I wish someone made a windshield suction holder that can be used with the defender...

my old ipod came with a white ish case, im using that on iphone, perfect fit...
meanwhile....not sure yet.

scratch on screen is not a problem though is it? it would still work.
my ipods are scratched all over and that doesnt bother me in the slightest.

main worry is if the actual thing falls on floor and cracks....

If anyone of you guys are looking for silicon iphone case, take a look Neo Hybrid case at http://cretouch.com.
The quality of silicon material they used to make this case is totally better than any other silicon cases out there in market.
They are not made in china, are made in korea. When it comes to products like this, Korea makes much better quality products.
It's little bit hard to install to iPhone since it's plastic + silicon, but once it gets installed, it's awesome case. I love its grip on my hand.

If you drop your phone and it has a decent case that covers the chrome or at least goes over it partially, it is difficult for it to fall on the screen if whatever it falls on is flat and not irregular.

Sleek and protection

If you would like to find something sleek and protective, I would recommend SGP affiliated cretouch.com guys. Not only as I know these guys personally. their end finish quality and fit is pretty good.

Incipio feather

...(in black) best case I ever used and it fits my just mobile x-stand perfectly!

It's also very discreet and gives the phone a nice matte finish on the back to provide a better grip

Well i just purchased the Iskin Solo FX SE in black and white. Beautiful cases, alot nicer than the shinny FX models or earlier. The mat finish gives it a much ''richer'' feel. Comes with 2 screen sheilds, Crystal and Mirror. Also comes with a wet wipe to clean the phone before applying the sheilds.
Recommended.

Steer clear

I'm actually pretty dissapointed with my Vaja case. I was looking for a really nice and unique case, which it was for about a week. It got super dirty with just normal handling

My black iVolution case turned gray in areas within about the first week with very careful handling (only putting in my jacket pocket with nothing else in it) and is now splotchy black and gray after a few months. I've never been so disappointed in any purchase I've made. Customer service was a nightmare and they said it was because of "bad care". Evidently actually using the case is considered "bad care". I sent them pictures of everything and still the same story. I would've been angry with this type of wear in a case that I spent $30 for, much less a case that I spent $100 for.

Don't even think about getting a Vaja case if you want to use it and not have it look beaten up after the first week.

SGP Illuzion Leather CAses

Hey guys I've been recently looking for some good leather cases to protect my new iPhone 3G.

For me I dont want a pouch that covers the whole phone up cuz then I need to take it out every time I use my phone.

But then I'm not sure if I'll like cases that you leave on all the time but have the screen exposed, even if you have a screen protector film a key in your pocket with your iphone could potentially damage it.

So I've been thinking of getting one of those flip style cases that protect the screen when not in use but can open it easily when taking a call?

I looked at those SGP illuzion series: http://www.sgpstore.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=pouch

what do you guys think? Are these good if anyone used it before?

Just got a new Otterbox Defender from eBay for $30 with free shipping. Here's some pics. The thing is built like a brick shithouse, too.

I'm VERY happy with my purchase.

I completely agree. I bought 2 black ones, one for each of my iPhones. It does make the phone a bit larger but the protection seems second to none. The only weakness I found was with the belt clip, I already had to replace both belt clips but Otter Box replaced them no questions asked and it was at my door in 3 days, cant beat service like that.

agent18 Eco plus anti glare film cover = sexiest setup IMHO. I would highly highly recommend this setup
