I just misunderstood you, I was thinking of getting it removed I just don't want to wreck the paint haha.Oh, I'm sorry! What I meant was "don't put the sticker on the side". If it came with it, that's all good.
Definitely do not wreck the paint. Nothing is worth wrecking the paint.I just misunderstood you, I was thinking of getting it removed I just don't want to wreck the paint haha.
^Oh damn. Love the 918!
I can't tell if it's a dark metallic blue, but if it is... Porsche of Westwood had it in their showroom back in June/July. There's a few of them running around our area now!
We should do a MRCarThread group buy on one. Time share sort of thing. I get first dibs on all major holidays and long weekends.
I'll buy in, but only if we can get one custom made with a CVT.
.
I'm actually shocked people still buy the Yaris. Toyota definitely phoned that car in. No effort was put into making a good subcompact.I'm buying one of these. It's cheap. I'm just kidding.

Honda kills everything in this segment with the Fit. It is an ingenious little car.

Thanks for tip. The Toyota Camry and Lexus ES 350 are still on my list of car options.
By the way my coworker drives a Toyota Echo. I forgotten about the Echo until I saw her's.
When I worked out of Boston, I was on 95/128 everyday. Always a treat car-spotting on that road!Last week I had to drive out to our one of my work's satellite treatment centers. They gave me one of the company cars to make the 2hr trip. In the past they've given me one of their 2014 Jeep Compasses, which I have to say is the worst car I've ever driven. I joked about it to the woman in charge of scheduling the cars, so she gave me a 2010 Altima (if I was a senior level employee I'd get a Grand Cherokee ). The Altima had a CVT which I have to say is one of the worst inventions ever. It was loud, unpredictable, often found itself in the wrong ratio... just super annoying to drive. Next time I think I will just take my own car and get reimbursed.
The one advantage of that car was I got to see this one:
Porsche 918. Base Price: $845,000.
No, I'm not interested in the NX. I still like the RX but it's a bit pricey. You're not interested in the RX or NX anymore?
No, I'm not interested in the NX. I still like the RX but it's a bit pricey.
I ran across these two articles about the NX.
Consumer Reports listed the NX as one of the worst cars of 2015.

In addition, I've always heard that you should wait about fives years after a new car model has been released so that the manufacture can correct all of the problems, first.
I love the car, but loathe the Sync software.
My lease is up in February and I'm hoping to get a vehicle with the newer Sync 3 system and I hope that it doesn't suck either.
Is that shorthand for advertisements?verts

I've been looking at reviews now and again on Sync 3 and everything I see is positive so far.
One thing that I miss from stereo's of old is a Source button. I just want a plain old button on the dash that will change the source audio each time I press it. Radio, Satellite, USB, Line In, BTA. I don't always want to have to press the Sync button and speak what I want. To me, its cumbersome and takes longer to get to what I want.
Yeah, it can be tedious depending on user preferences. For me, I find it too much trouble to press the Sync button, wait a few seconds for the car to listen, then speak "USB" or "Bluetooth Audio" and hope it recognizes the command, then wait for it to confirm my choice and switch to the source I want and begin playing.Ahh, sorry, verts = convertibles
Oh yeah, even our 4Runner with the nav headunit has dedicated buttons for FM, AUX, DISC and a toggle on the steering wheel to flip through them. Geez, that sounds like a tedious implementation.
I'm not sure I agree with CR about this. The NX is fantastic. No, I'm not interested in the NX. I still like the RX but it's a bit pricey.

Thanks for insightThe NX has recieved very mixed reviews. Some reviews rave about its beautiful, well built interior, while others like CR knock it. I think overall most agree the performance is pretty underwhelming. Typically I trust CR the least when it comes to reviews*. I wouldn't rule it out based on one opinion.
I haven't been in an NX, but I'd be surprised for it to be one of the top 5 worst cars of this year. I don't think it's a great value looking at the competition, but that's probably the most important metric CR is basing their decision off of, since that's what they like to do. I see plenty of NX's already and they haven't been out too long.
5 years is a little long IMO. Most manufactures have moved on to a new vehicle at that point. I think a year or two is reasonable. It depends on how long you expect to keep the car too- within the few years of the warranty, or for the next 10 years.
*(As a PharmD I love CR's medication comparisons and you might appreciate this as well given your training. Consumer Reports reviews medication and while making disclaimers about side effects, solely bases their decision on average monthly cost. Side effects, efficacy/outcomes, tolerabilty, opportunity cost, etc are not considered. For example, diphenhydramine/Benadryl is usually cheapest antihistamine you can buy. For most people though, it will put them to sleep for 10hrs so it's not a great choice. They also like to include OTC and Rx drugs together, which is pointless as many people have insurance and they don't factor in the doctor's appoint cost/copay. Clarinex might cost $200/month but cheaper than then the $25 OTC Allegra since my copay is $10 for 3 months. There is a whole complex field called pharmacoeconomics devoted to assessing the best treatments, CR's analysis basically looking at the price per unit which is not meaningful)
Thanks for the tipI'm not sure I agree with CR about this. The NX is fantastic.
And this is Lexus we're talking about. They have been making probably the most reliable cars out there for over a decade.
This bold part is really key for a consumer reports review. CR is notorious for favoring reliability. They tend to favor the Japanese vehicles.I'm not sure I agree with CR about this. The NX is fantastic.

Agreed on that. I feel like everyone on this thread should be gifted a Ferrari for going 100+ pages when a good 20 of them discuss Daewoo.deleted post
