Everything written here is the opposite of reality. Sarcasm?
Clearly you've never driven a PT Cruiser on your own accord or being given one as a rental. They're fantastic machines. Handle like a go-kart, have a smooth engine response and a nice minor growl at the tail end. So what if some of them have caught on fire. A little engine bay fire never hurt anyone, except Ferrari and Porsche owners. It's abundantly clear that the PT Cruiser is a future exotic car. It's usually exotics that catch on fire in modern times. Don't forget you can retrofit the cars so they look like cars from the 30s and 40s. You're missing out on a lot of coolness.

They also make fantastic medic vans driving after new Mustang owners who don't know how to drive and plow their car into crowds. It's a huge win in my book. The PT Cruiser is the starlet of the car world.

It could be the best interior and engine etc. in the world, I still wouldn't drive one for the fact they look darn awful!

Why not? It'd be fantastic to bang into some of the more dangerous critters in your neck of the woods. The angle of the hood and its shape is perfect to see little Wally fly off into the distance and become impaled on a sharp rock.

I'm in WA, not much in terms of dangerous critters down by me!

I have decided to go with just doing the OptiCoat Pro Plus for the Camaro and not the Xpel. Will be getting done next week.

Dodge Viper plant will close for good Aug. 31

It has been a long time coming, an end rumored since at least 2015, but after 25 years, the Dodge Viper's demise is nigh. Production of the $90,000 bespoke sports car is ending. Therefore, FCA will be shutting down its Conner Assembly Plant on Aug. 31.

Spectacular automobile, beautiful execution, hand built, unique powerplant, wonderful attention to detail (just check out the paint).

Just two weeks worth of dirt, grime, and brake dust. Difference is staggering( well I have always known high performance brakes will create a crap ton of stuff on the wheels, but it still amazes me the difference once the wheels are cleaned).

Car looks good, and for once I don't miss having awesome brakes that dust like a mofo. In fact, I don't even miss my Coyote at all which I never thought I'd say.

And those brakes/pads are amatuer hour for dusting, I've had some setups that went from clean to looking like you drove through the valley-of-brake-dust after like 5 stops :D

Surprisingly, my Big-Ol-Brembos™ aren't as messy as you'd think, seems like a good pad choice for the street (whatever the OEM spec is).

Holy ****, finally, got some tires shipped :D

Whew, I thought I might have jumped the gun, but now I'm talking tracking numbers and delivery dates, two tomorrow, the other two on Monday.

Thanks, but that picture is before I washed the body. :)

Also spotted that I missed a spot on the rear wheel.... Can't believe I missed it. Oh well... The detailer that will be doing the ceramic coating Wednesday will it get for me as they included applying the coating to the wheels as well.

We're having renovations done on the house. Somehow, the A4 has become the outside car. Completely trashed.

Two dings and dirt everywhere
My neighbour is having renovations. My VW has a constant layer of dust. But as the builders work Saturday I have to clean it Sunday.
But by Tuesday it will look like I haven't.

Testing out Adam's Degreaser. I know Adam's is relabeled product for the most part, but this is one of the best degreasers I've used. Shame I can't use a dilution of it everywhere like Simple Green. Some of their products, like this one, are good. The rest is rather blah, especially their correcting compounds.

@AustinIllini This is where a foam cannon and powerwasher spray down come in useful. Or even a simple powerwashing.

Got one tire in :D Holy smokes, this is a new _front_ tire ... meat.

Awesome. I love the smell of new tires. Just one of those things. Also the scent of new caulking.

My new 2017 GT Mustang...

I've always thought those wheels were very BMW-esque. Congratulations on the purchase. I have seen that color up close and it's a mix of Atomic Silver and Nebula Gray Pearl. Changes color depending on the time of day. What options did you pick out for her?

I think the GT offers some of the best value for money when it comes to domestic retro muscle. I'm not sure how the upcoming DCT meant for Ford's performance cars will be like, but the manual should be rock solid.

I didn't all stock, automatic (live in Atlanta, GA - awful traffic!).
However, I'll be:
- getting Butler Tyre, to pain my calipers green (it will take two days)
- probably change my engine cover plates to green, too
- interior lights to be changed to LED
- swap the steering wheel for the racing one (with the flat bottom)

What do you think?
Also, currently, it is 435 HP, but, I'd like to increase it, BUT, not increase the exhaust noise (don't like them too loud and draw too much attention). Any ideas...? Thanks

New Accord promo is up.

I did not expect a digital dash. It and the body creases plus the hood design makes me think they've copied Audi. This new design is pretty aggressive for a family sedan. Not as aggressive as the Camry.

Green? Why...

Weird suggestion, but see if the dealer offers caliper painting. My MBZ dealer offers it in their booth. The quality is top notch. I know some BMW and Japanese brands offer this, too. I had no idea you could get the GT in automatic.

Exhaust wise, you'll have to be careful so as not to void your warranty. See what Ford says about it or ask around. Ideally, you'll probably want an exhaust system with greater flow and probably a valve you can switch on or off, and probably set it to open up after a certain RPM; e.g. 4,500 RPM.
