The Fiat brand is Italian… the current owning company? God only knows… One of those frankencorporations. Are they now Italian, English, or Dutch?
FCA's HQ is in London. The Fiat brand is Italian… the current owning company? God only knows… One of those frankencorporations.
But definitely NOT British.
*sigh*.FCA's HQ is in London.
Marchionne's latest plans were to stop making Fiats in Italy (500 is made in big Serbian plant).*sigh*.
Yes, anyone can Google that.
Read my post again. It is owned by Chryselrblahblahblah… frankencorporation.
The brand/heritage is Italian.
Or do you think Rolls Royce is a German motorcar?
Yes? No?
errrr… OK.Marchionne's latest plans were to stop making Fiats in Italy (500 is made in big Serbian plant).
FCA's HQ is in London.
Read carefully what I wrote in a previous post. What relevance does that have to an unapologetically Italian Fiat made in 1982?
Regardless of what brand juggling you might do now, I don't see how you can argue that a 1982 m/y is anything other than Italian.
MGs are now made in China. Does that make my 1970 MG(built in Abingdon under the auspices of British Leyland) a Chinese car?
Read carefully what I wrote in a previous post.

IF this leak is legit, this is one awesome GT500. Apparently it was leaked from a Instagram user out of Detroit.
I only have one question, when can I put my deposit down?
Yes, Made in Italy!I DID read it, and frankly don't know what point you're trying to make.
I'm not sure how anyone could argue that @Huntn 's Fiat is anything other than Italian.
I always thought it stood for Fix it Again, TonyIt stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino
The allocations for the 5 major Ford dealer in this area are already spoken for (according to the local Mustang club Prez) and apparently $20K-30K ADM with an unknown MRSP (but projected at nearing $70K). Good luck finding one, and more power to the people who pay ADM, I sure as heck won't.
Where did I say that?I DID read it, and frankly don't know what point you're trying to make.
I'm not sure how anyone could argue that @Huntn 's Fiat is anything other than Italian.
FIAT is Italian. It stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino
I don't give a crap about where FCA is based. That's all about taxes, location, etc. it's Italian.
Where did I say that?

Is Opel French or German? Or is it still largely American?
Is Volvo Cars Swedish or Chinese?
Is JLR British or Indian?
Are MINI nd Rolls Royce Motor Cars British? Or are they German?
Is Seat Spanish? Is Škoda Czech? Or are they German?
Is Dacia Romanian? Or is it French?
Is Chrysler American? Or is it European?
Is Buick American? Or is it Chinese and German and French?
Is BMW X Series German? Or usually American?
Is Apple American? Or is it Chinese?
If these are all rhetorical questions why did you ask about Fiat in the first place?
These are literally the easiest questions (outside Dacia) I have answered all day.Is Opel French or German? Or is it still largely American? German. It was never American
Is Volvo Cars Swedish or Chinese?
Swedish
Is JLR British or Indian? Jeep and Land Rover are British
Are MINI nd Rolls Royce Motor Cars British? Or are they German? British
Is Seat Spanish? Is Škoda Czech? Or are they German? Spanish
Is Dacia Romanian? Or is it French? I actually didn't know where Dacia was from
Is Chrysler American? Or is it European? American
Is Buick American? Or is it Chinese and German and French? American
Is BMW X Series German? Or usually American? German
Is Apple American? Or is it Chinese? American
Negative. Opel was owned by GM and used GM platforms, so it was largely American, and these models are still sold today. These are literally the easiest questions (outside Dacia) I have answered all day.
Anheuser-Busch is American even though its holding company is from the Netherlands (I think). The "ethnicity" of the product is where the product is designed.
Someone said Fiat is not British, which cannot be affirmed 100%.If these are all rhetorical questions why did you ask about Fiat in the first place?
Fiat has always been considered to be Italian, even if their HQ are in London and they sell rebadged Mazda Miatas.Someone said Fiat is not British, which cannot be affirmed 100%.
They don't pay taxes in Italy an the Italians are not happy about it. As I said, FCA thought there was no future for Fiat manufacture in Italy.Fiat has always been considered to be Italian, even if their HQ are in London and they sell rebadged Mazda Miatas.
And to be precise, FCA’s HQ are in London, Fiat’s are in Italy.
Someone said Fiat is not British, which cannot be affirmed 100%.
meh..an '82 Fiat is still Italian, designed by Pininfarina and built in Italy and actually nicer than MG's
