I'm not much for hip hop or rap, but I have always loved this song, specifically the intro. I was recently re-inspired when Chrysler was using it for their commercials. Enjoy.

Anyone know what the length limits are for SMS and alert tones?.

I found out that my 40 second ringtone didn't appear in the list when I went to select my text tones, I made another 8 second one and it let me select that one for text & alert tones.

At work, so I can't link it, but my text tone is Willy Wonka "GOOD DAY SIR!". I also use Kevin Flynn from Tron: Legacy saying "Yeeeahhh".

Hopefully the Nintendo lovers enjoy this one. I've been using it for a long time now with BiteSMS, but now that Apple finally lets us use our own sounds, I can use it with my non-Jailbroken iOS5 phone.

This is the sound Yoshi makes when jump on his back - ZipZoo! I made it myself :D. I use it for incoming SMS messages.

I need some help....I've created custom ringtones in the past, but it's been a few months. Trying to do a couple today and I can't get them to show up on my phone. They show up in Itunes in the ringtone section, and if I drag and drop them into the ringtone folder on my phone it looks like they are there. However, they don't show up in the sounds section of my phone. I am doing it the exact same way I've done in the past. The old ones that I made awhile back are still there, but not the new ones. Could this have anything to do with os5? Also, if I click the "sync ringtones" box in Itunes it gives me a message saying it will wipe out all my songs. Is this normal?

1) Find a sound

2) Upload to www.audiko.net or find another way to make an .m4r of it (same way you make an iPhone ringtone)

3) Import your new .m4r into iTunes, notice it shows up under ringtones

4) Sync

5) Pick the new ringtone as your new sound for ...well for whatever you want to use that sound for. I'm using cartoon015.wav for my SMS tone and I converted it with Audiko.

You can do this using Quicktime and iTunes. Open a sound in Quicktime save as .m4a then manually change the extension to .m4r and import to iTunes.

Make sure they have the extension of m4r. I took a wav file yesterday, created an ACC version in iTunes, renamed from m4a to m4r and it synced right to my iPhone. I haven't tried any of my previous ringtones, but I'd safely assume they work.

As for syncing ringtones, just drag the tones you want to your phone, unless you want to erase and re-sync.

I don't know how to upload it here for listening but I took the first line from the Britney Spears song Gimme More where she says "It's Britney...Bitch". Not even really a Britney fan so much -- I just think it's a funny line for a tone.

When people here it (mostly) they laugh and ask me where I got it.

I've been messing with this for hours and searching every forum I could find and I just found the answer....for whatever reason the artist, album, year, etc all must be filled in for the ringtone to transfer to your phone. Makes no sense to me, but once I filled in those fields and dragged and dropped the ringtone onto my phone it finally worked. From what I was reading this has been a headache for a lot of people.

I don't think thats true. I've made my own in Garageband and also found some Simpsons quotes in WAV format, changed them in QT renamed them then dropped them in iTunes and synced. No need to fill in all the details?!

Any St. Louis sports fans?
