I've been messing with this for hours and searching every forum I could find and I just found the answer....for whatever reason the artist, album, year, etc all must be filled in for the ringtone to transfer to your phone. Makes no sense to me, but once I filled in those fields and dragged and dropped the ringtone onto my phone it finally worked. From what I was reading this has been a headache for a lot of people.

I have never had to do this, first just import it into itunes and then drag it from there to your phone or sync it via the ringtones tab on your iphone in iTunes

Hopefully the Nintendo lovers enjoy this one. I've been using it for a long time now with BiteSMS, but now that Apple finally lets us use our own sounds, I can use it with my non-Jailbroken iOS5 phone.

This is the sound Yoshi makes when jump on his back - ZipZoo! I made it myself :D. I use it for incoming SMS messages.

:D:D I've been looking for this one for a while, thanks for uplaoding!!!! I currently use the sound Yoshi make when he sticks his tongue out ha.

My Text tone is also my signiture on here..
"I'm Aaron Hotchner unit chief.. Get off my crime scene"

If anyone watches Criminal Minds they'll get that one. lol. I have a few other criminal minds onces for twitter and facebook

I don't think thats true. I've made my own in Garageband and also found some Simpsons quotes in WAV format, changed them in QT renamed them then dropped them in iTunes and synced. No need to fill in all the details?!

All I can say is that it absolutely worked for me on three different ringtones. Can't be a coincidence...I tried everything mulitple times and nothing. As soon as I filled in that info and synced it moved the ringtone to my phone and now works great.

Yep, always worked for me in the past as well, until I updated to Itunes 10 and OS 5.0 yesterday. Maybe one of those caused a change?

I NEVER knew they offered that - holy crap! Thank you! :D

And to Geckotech as well -- yeah, it's amazing -- because it's also an entire FREE soundtrack to the ENTIRE game -- three volumes worth! I think the music from the game is exceptional.

Can you upload the yoshi tongue sound textone? Please and thank you!

Any House(the tv show) ones? I would be a fan of a text tone of Foreman saying 'sarcoidosis' since that's his differential for everyone.

Turrent Wife Serenade from the portal site that someone posted earlier is just awesome! Def. my new ringtone! Thanks a lot!

"Dong Dong" from Law & Order. Someone else in another thread posted this.

Yeah, this happened to me, too. I had one tone that wouldn't sync. It didn't have any info, so I filled in the artist field just to see what would happen...and suddenly it synced.

However, I do have another tone (the Mac start up one from earlier in this thread) that has no info and synced fine. So who knows.

On the topic of the thread, I have the Star Trek intercom sound as my text tone and the AOL "you've got mail!" as my incoming mail tone. I'm gonna have to stop leaving my phone on vibrate all the time.

Are they .m4r files?
Did you open in Quicktime and export as .m4a files?
Did you rename them as .m4r?
Did you re-import .m4r files into iTunes?
Are they less than 30 seconds?
Is "Sync Ringtones" checked? All or Selected? Did you check the ones you want?

This is a long shot - but any NFL fans here? During some games, typically during timeouts, they play a calm guitar sound. Anyone know what it is? :D
