The Moko sport bands seem a little too wide where it connects to the watch, would anyone be able to confirm?

You be the judge. In this photo, the red band is the Apple Product [Red] Sport Band. The blue band is the MoKo Midnight Blue Sport Band. Personally, I don't see a difference.

Well I hope when mine arrive today they are like both of yours!

EDIT: I now know why the Apple straps are £39, the quality of the Moko bands is decent but nothing compared to my original Apple black band.

I have no problem with the quality of the MoKo sport bands... my only issue is that with them being silicon (as opposed to Apple's fluoroelastomer), they almost magneticly attract lint, hair, etc...

I didn't like the seam along the sides (mine had tiny chunks missing) and the end that slots into the AW was very ill fitting. I'd rather just pony up the £39 or hope CEX actually sort out my missing item.

Has anyone heard of "Clickstraps"? What do you guys think?

Saw their ad on my FB feed and checked it out. Seems like they use similar adapters to "Click"? But that strap mechanism seems really unique and intriguing.

Interesting, but there doesn't seem to be a huge advantage over the quick release spring bar straps that you can buy already. You can get nice quick release ones from Clockwork Synergy.

Also, you can potentially retrofit a regular strap with quick release spring bars (though if you really want to do it nicely, the only cutter I've seen that will make the proper hole in the strap is ridiculously expensive).

First Nato strap from Clockwork Synergy. Installed my Space Black adapters. Came with a 15% off coupon for next order, but I may have to order through their site to use it.

I just ordered a 42mm Double Tour band yesterday from LUCRIN. The one on the Apple website is only available for the 38mm.

Reeeally looking forward to that! Will post pictures as soon as I get it. Unfortunately, that would be in 10 days... and that's a bugger.

Looking forward to your review and photos on the Lucrin 42mm double tour. I posted under the Ladies thread a while back asking if anyone had ordered one yet but none had in that size. Have you received it yet? I've been so tempted by their bands for a while now. Just love the colors and leather choices they offer. Looks top notch. And I am curious how they tame down a 42mm band for this style. I could see it looking like an ace bandage on the wrist if too wide doubled but their version does look slimmer width wise. And like you said Apple/Hermes doesn't make one in this size so this is definitely their customization of it.

Their solution:
We will send you some more screws and a screwdriver. Oh and you should buy some locktite too.

Seriously!

That's what kind of scares the crap out of me with all these non-watch companies and sellers selling bands on classic Apple Watch adapters. Heck I've seen this happen even with some coming from watch band companies who you'd think would have researched what they need to do. Losing a screw isn't such a big deal if you dodn't also lose your watch to breakage in the process. But it just shouldn't happen to begin with. Doubt many if any will pay for your watch to be repaired. Apple says in their Watchband guidelines to use a threadlocker but when you get a band on an adapter how do you really know they did. Seen some reports on MR of a blue threadlocker used as evidenced on the screw that came out. From what I can tell Apple never specified a specific threadlocker type either.

I have a few classic adapters to use but have held off using them so far sticking with just the spring pin. Some bands however do lend themselves better to one style adapter or the other.

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with cheap knock off 3rd party straps on ebay? I'm looking to get a steel band, a leather loop and a sport strap. How crappy are they?

In your opinion which are the best
Some are good, and some are not. There is a watch accessory forum with lots of examples. I have more than a dozen knock-off bands from a few different sources. I would rate them all very high. Here is a link to the post where I list them.

[doublepost=1453732930][/doublepost]How accurate is the color? And is it wearing off at all?

We just got a sport strap off amazon. Looks identical to what Apple offers. In your hand it's a little thinner, but it also feels the same on the wrist. It was $11 versus $50. My wife its the one that uses it an is more than happy with it. She bought the stone color.

EDIT: Here is the link to the one we bought. It was actually $11.88. Close enough haha.

How
The color looks identical to the Apple brand. The entire material is that color so the color can't wear off. Let me take a pic for you. One sec.

I did not compare between the different "brands" of these knockoffs; I just based the selection on reviews. That said, I received a knock-off sport band from another supplier as a gift, and it was not as good as my Amazon Moko bands.

The color and wear on all of them are excellent. My sports and leather loops are visually indistinguishable from the OE Apple bands. I have been wearing them regularly for about six months, so they wear well over time.

My SS band is not a true OE clone, but I knew that going in. However, it is still a phenomenal band. It does not have the Apple-style clasp. That said, it is visually indistinguishably from an OE for most people.
