I understand, I've always been good with my watches, few bumps here and there..but I can just picture walking through a doorway hitting the watch and leaving a nice scratch on it. Knowing me, it's inevitable(That first bump is going to hurt!)

Best Buy had the same one you have, no aluminum. It was going for $70. The Best Buy near me has the worse selection when it comes to anything, especially when it comes to Apple products. They had a few Zagg screen protectors, cheap - but overpriced - ugly bumpers also.

Mine IS aluminum. It's apparently a fake from China. Looks great, so I don't mind. It also only cost me $23.99. So that was a bonus.

Saw the crappy bumpers and the screen protectors, which apparently peel off quickly.

Just ran across these flexbands from freshfiber and thought they looked pretty cool, especially for the price. Doesn't look like the size is adjustable so we have to order exactly the correct size.

I have to say that I think those bands look insanely awesome and unique to me. I would definitely be interested in buying one. Lack of adjustability is my only concern with something like this, but still looks awesome.

Just came in the mail, 3rd party adapter for the 42mm watch that supports any 24mm watch pin. Too bad they only had polished SS finish and my watch is space grey... My 24mm Glossy Black SS link bracelet also just arrived so I put them together and here is my video and photos for you guys to comment. Oh, please like the video thanks!

Really like those. Wish they were available now and not just preorders. I don't like waiting. :)

I would NOT recommend the Lunatik Epik black aluminum fake on eBay. I'm not convinced it isn't going to scratch up my watch, the more I look at it. I took it off and put on my Hoco 3 bead. I'm getting my money back!

My son's laundry along with a Crown and Buckle strap with Amazon adapters that are a tad too big, but they'll do for now.

Anyone seen any info about the knock off leather loops? Would love one for my 38mm dont need apple quality but needs to be at least decent

I'm honestly of the opinion that the third party band makers (so far) have actually misunderstood the word "loop" as seen in both Milanese Loop and Leather Loop. The loop refers to the non-standard - and very cool IMO - way that the band "fastens", ie the bands loop back on themselves and fasten magnetically rather than thru a more usual strap fastener. That loop mechanism is what I'm chasing in 3rd party bands, in both the Milanese and Leather Loop. There are now quite a few 3rd party bands claiming to be a copy of the "Milanese Loop" but not one of them that I've seen has that magnetic loop. And I haven't seen anyone even claim to have a Leather Loop knockoff.

I'd love to be proven wrong, and I'm sure they'll get there eventually.

They are already available, just not in the USA. I think it's more of the copyright issues than anything else.

Update: The vendor refunded my money, told me to keep it (not that I'll use it), and removed it from eBay. Very nice guy.

I have this band. What is your logic behind why it would scratch the watch? Seems like it fits fine and I didn't notice any scratching or issues with rubbing.

Just got my HOCO Brown Leather Band (used with a 38mm Aluminum Watch). Feels premium and I love the texture + the combination of brown and silver; very happy! :)
