I have yet to see any single third party strap that looks good to me!

And The only band from Apple I really like is the link. But not paying that. I think there are tons of excellent bands that are better looking than apple and less expensive.

My daily wear is the MK rubber I harvested from one of my MK watches. Much more comfortable than the LL I have.

I have this band. What is your logic behind why it would scratch the watch? Seems like it fits fine and I didn't notice any scratching or issues with rubbing.

Because it scratched my watch? And it left a gross residue on the crown, and the soft lining on the inside of the case crown was dissolving and would eventually scratch up the crown on the watch. That's why. If yours doesn't do that, then I'm really glad for you. :)

just wanted to share my metal band that looks a bit like the original link but doesn't cost 500$ :D took me some time to find an adapter to fit the band.
it has some weight, so it is not a band to wear everyday. but looks nice in my opinion, even combined with the apple watch sport.

i would sand down the polished steel with fine grit to match the band. other than that, it looks pretty good.

Any update?
Just took a chance and ordered this off eBay. Only U.S. based listing I could find... $11.89 shipped so it's not a ton of money but hopefully this turns out okay! Supposed to get it sometime next week so I'll try and report back then!

Doesn't look like it includes a screwdriver. Does anyone know if I can just buy any pentalobe tool and call it a day?

EDIT: Messaged seller and it turns out it includes a screwdriver!

Got my lugs from "the Utica guy," and used them on my cheapo pink band. The band is big - I have it on the first hole and my wrist is average. I'm looking forward to getting my space grey lugs from Click to make it look better.

What is is specifically that you dislike about what you have seen so far? I think some look good, while others not so good. But as far as adapters there is no perfect one yet. But soon that will change, better bands are also inevitable.

I think they just look plain ugly and cheap. Almost every one I have seen up to now in this thread. But each to their own, and of course this is subjective and personal observation.

Just got my HOCO Brown Leather Band (used with a 38mm Aluminum Watch). Feels premium and I love the texture + the combination of brown and silver; very happy! :)

Glad to hear that. This is the band that I've been considering. Did you get this on eBay or through Amazon? Who was the seller and would you recommend them?

Another 3rd party Stainless Link. Adapters from eBay and Band from Amazon. Quality seems good and it weighs 107 grams which puts it close to the Apple Link bracelet.

So I received the HOCO stainless steel strap today (Bought from eBay for £29.99).

Looks O...K.... (It looks like a £30 strap) BUT one major problem - one of the connectors is too long and fits terribly (the other fits perfectly, as good as Apples own!!)

Below you can see the bottom connecter (the one with the problem) is slightly longer and not as thick

Here is the look of it overall (I've positioned the connector in the best possible way to make it look good, but there is no way it sits anywhere near this good when its on your wrist - you can still see it sticking out on the bottom right corner a bit)

Welcome to Chinese crap. You cannot beat Apple precision. I feel for you. I'd be more worried that it will fall off when you least expect it. This is a good example of you pay for what you get unfortunately.
