That entry price was a surprise to me today - reflecting the 13" features not as much. Was hoping for speaker grilles on the sides of the keyboard though, a lot of plain space there.

Who's going for one?

My order is in for a 16/512 Silver with the 70W adapter.
I ordered mine tonight. Selling my 2022 13" MBA through a 3rd party and ordered my 15" MBA fully speced out. I always wanted the bigger screen with the slim form of the air.

About to pull the trigger on a Midnight/24GB/1TB or 2TB with a company discount.. though it would cost $600 more to go for a 14" MBP with 32GB/1TB.. decisions, decisions.
(Upgrading from a 2015 13".. lol)
Thought similar and went with the MBA with 2TB SSD storage. I wanted the form of the MBA and don't need any of the pluses of the Pro.

I ordered my base model Midnight 15” Air on Saturday, surprisingly with launch day delivery. Apple isn’t saying it shipped yet, but some of you have been able to grab your tracking numbers early. Can someone share how? I’d like to get a little piece of mind that it’s actually going to arrive tomorrow so I know if I need to telework or not.

Just got my shipment notification for an order I placed the day after the announcement. MBA 15" Midnight 1Tb 16Gb 35 Watt Adapter. Got my $150 Apple Gift card too. Shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver for delivery Tuesday June 13th. WooHoo! Can't wait--although UPS is till showing only a label created in PA, I trust UPS will take possession today for an on-time delivery tomorrow.

Tracking number is available on the “Order Status” page on the Apple Store. I’m in the “preparing to ship” stage right now, from Korea.

Yes, as expected, the 16GB/1TB orders (a store stocked higher-end config) are being shipped overnight from local distributers where they were probably sitting for a bit and ready to go. In my area/region (NYC), orders usually ship from PA (that's where most returns go as well).

I got my shipping notice now, also just a label created. It would make sense that the base model was already in Apple's PA warehouse, which I actually pass by on my way to work. No wonder it didn't ship until today.

So I’ve bit the bullet and ordered a base model 15” in Space Grey. It’s already shipped and is due for collection tomorrow. Getting it delivered to my local RM delivery office as I’m at work all day.

Like many of you, I got my tracking info and shipped email from Apple. It looks like it's coming from PA and headed to the Midwest. Looks like UPS hasn't picked it up yet but I assume that it will tonight and it'll be in my hands tomorrow.

That’s fine. But who here ever claimed to be maxing out their 15? Every other config besides 24/2TB is well below $2500, so I’m not seeing the relevance.
I think what he's saying is that for the price of a base model MacBook Pro 16", you can buy a fully maxed-out 15" MacBook Air -- the point being it's a great deal if you don't need the other features of the Pro model. That's how I took it anyway.

Yes because someone mentioned the difference in base 15A and 16P was substantial
