I just went to the Apple store, and was expecting to trade in my 13" MBA that I bought two months ago.

The store leader instead approved a straight up exchange from the M2 13" 16gb/1tb to the 15" with the same specs.

I was SHOCKED but thrilled that I didn't have to pay any differences. Super happy with this thing!
WoW… I bought the M2 Mac mini a few month ago and I regret it… Apple don’t change trade it now.

I’m absolutely loving this thing so far. I was a little worried that it might be too big, but it’s actually a perfect size in my opinion. Seems like they nailed it with the dimensions. The bigger screen is amazing & makes me feel pretty good about deciding to trade in the 13’.
Yeah, I'm happy to sell my M2 13" Air to upgrade to this, even if it's only a year old. This is the MacBook I've wanted for so long.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I can already tell that I'll be holding on to this thing for a long time. There's no way I could go back to the 13" after using this.

Just took delivery today and finished setting up, what an incredible machine! It feels like the 15" Touch Bar form factor although noticeably lighter. The lack of speaker grilles also makes for a really clean look with the keyboard. Appears to be just lightly sipping the battery as well, while juggling multiple tasks. Well-done, Apple!

Yeah, this laptop is so nice. And incredibly snappy compared to my intel model. I honestly have no idea how much an M3 chip can improve on this, and I know I would be happy with this kind of performance for years.

Hi All.

I have been waiting for a new Mac book to come out at a decent price for a long time now. I have a mid 2015 Mac Book Pro with retina screen and i7 chip 16 k Ram and 256 SSD it wont update to the latest software versions as to old now.

I want to get 15 MacBook Air. I will go with 512 SSD as tend to keep lap tops for a long time. So with uploading videos and pictures I don’t want to run out of space on hard drive.

My concern is that, I have 16 k Ram on my current Mac book will I notice the drop to 8k Ram or will the M2 make up for shortfall in memory. If you look at bench mark the new air is lightning fast compared to my old Mac Boom Any advice welcome please.

If you have a midnight Mac book. I would be interested to know, would you buy an another one Midnight ? As heard it is a nightmare with finger prints and scratching ?

Thanks in advance for help 👍

I picked up my new 15" Air last night from Best Buy and returned the M1 Air I had just purchased 2 weeks ago. Absolutely love it. First Mac I've genuinely excited about in years! Beautiful screen, great keyboard, and the speakers are the best laptop speakers I've ever listened to. My main reason for returning the M1 and getting the 15" was for the larger screen as I use my laptop for watching media a lot and having good speakers makes that even better.
