I have no idea what's going on w/ the timeline w/ these site.. (it's adjusted for EST according to what I did in fedex site but still looks all out of whack).

Best part of a forum, the internet, and freedom in general? Should you not want to partake in this thread, then just don't. Period, end of story. Rather than criticize someone who's excited about their purchase, just close the tab, press the back button, or otherwise keep your fingers off the keyboard and don't be "that guy."

So I'm confused, my air left China on the 26th for Alaska on the 27th, now it's back in China in the same day???

Mine showed 'Processing' from the day I bought it (6/19) to the day it was at the store (6/24). For me, delivering to the store, there was never any updates or clues. I just knew it was invoiced on the 22nd - so i figured it would be shipped shortly after, but never got any tracking numbers or anything.

Like I said earlier, at noon it was processing at 2pm it was ready for pick up.

13" 256 i7 8gig.

It seems that some/many of you who have ordered a BTO online and picked it up in the store didn't really ever receive an order status update. Or rather, the status update just went from "Processing Items" immediately to "Ready for Pickup" as was the case above. Also, it seems your order was delivered quite a bit earlier than what was originally quoted to you, by maybe 5 days. Can anyone else who opted for in store pickup comment on this? The order status of my BTO in store pickup item has been stuck on "Processing Items" for 4 days now. Thanks.

It however still says that delievery date is 29th... crossing fingers.

Wow...seriously? That gives me some hope as I ordered mine on the 24th so maybe tomorrow? Did you have it delivered to the store or did you get it shipped directly to you?

BTW: I too have been on the 13" MBA for the last two generations and also switched to the 11" this time. I'm a little nervous about whether or not that screen will be too small for me, but from the time I was able to spend on the demo in the Apple Store, it seemed to be the sweet spot for me. Pretty excited to get this new one in my hot little hands.

I ordered mine on 6/23 to be delivered to a store in New York. I just called Apple and was told my machine is going through customs in China right now and is set to be delivered to the store on monday 7/2.

BTW, its a 13inch MBA 256gb i7 8gb.
