EDIT: I see the status was just updated to preparing for shipment

I ordered a 13"/1.7/8GB/512GB model and it just went to "Preparing for Shipment" too! I can but hope it arrives sooner than the current estimate of 18th-20th.

Mine was shipped a moment ago. I see it's coming from Shanghai, China directly.

So, my macbook is going from China to the US and then to South Africa... hope it survives all the shipping around the world. It's probably going to fly over 4 continents before it reaches me.

I bought a 13" base with 8GB upgrade right after WWDC. Just received a notification that it's shipped.

So now I'm just waiting for them to upgrade the rMBP so I can get that too.

Edit: changed my config but stuck with the 13in. Pretty happy with the base model and it should serve my mobile computing needs great for the next few years. Got applecare too.

Mine left Shanghai early this morning and UPS is saying delivery by 10:30 AM tomorrow. I'll believe that when I see it (Original delivery estimate was next Tuesday).

I ordered the 13" i7/8gig/256gig right after WWDC. It went into shipped early this morning. It's suppose to arrive tomorrow by 10:30am EST! It was originally scheduled for 6/18-6/20 delivery.

Ordered an i7 with 8/512 on Monday and it's shipped an in Alaska today (from Shanghai ) - expected delivery is monday.

It irks me that my new laptop is more well traveled than I.
