Just bought the 13in Macbook Air. Coming from a 11in. Hopefully this will be fast enough to run some of the games I play:

Core i7
8gb RAM
512GB

So basically maxed it out.

My question would be should I just cancel this order and purchase in the store and get it tomorrow or just wait for shipment? My order looks like it's still processing.

Hmmm....looks like I may be one of the few who opted for the 13" i5 processor (but upgraded RAM and SSD).

I pulled the trigger right after the keynote yesterday on a 13" i7/8GB/512GB Air.

I have a 5 year old iMac that's starting to show its age and I've been eyeing an Air for a while now as a replacement. i intend to get a Henge dock and external monitor and set it up as a hybrid desktop. Would have liked to have a Retina display but the Air's ultimate portability won out against getting a MBPr.

Now the impossible wait begins, shipping notification says delivery between 06/18-06/20. I am of course hoping for sooner, fingers crossed.

Away from you
Ordered the 11" i5/8GB/512GB today.

It will be my main computer (which sees very light surfing and MS Office use at home), and is replacing a 2009 13" MBP with a 500GB hard drive.

I need the 512GB storage for my iTunes and iPhoto libraries, but I could not justify the i7.

I won't lie - I really wanted to hear about an rMBA yesterday, but kitted out the way I want, the regular MBA is pricey enough as it is. OTOH, I like the ultra-portability of the 11" and the 13" rMPB is overkill for what I'd use it for. I need an "iPad Pro" that runs OSX, and this is about as close as I will get. Can't wait. :)

I just ordered the same configuration. 11"/i5/8g/512. Replacing an 11" mid 2011 i5/128/4 which is going to my brother for his birthday to replace an aging windows machine.
