Thanks! so far so good with the Air. My wife and I bought an LG tv open box from them 6 years ago and it still looks/works like new. Plus it's nice to get my reward zone points to get a little cash back for future purchases.

Congrats! Thats the same one I got. But again, did it ship with ML? thanks.

Bit of a late reply ^^

It actually shipped with Lion and with a production date of 7 weeks previous - So I tried to obtain the voucher for the free download but then that was a fiasco

Ended up torrenting it

Yeah dude your reply came like a year later. LOL. Thanks.

purchased a Macbook Air late 2010 1.8gh core 2 duo 2 gig ram 256ssd for $500 from my company (including apple care). Needless to say, the computer crashed and burned and my local store upgraded me to a late 2012 macbook air 1.8 i5 4 gig ram 256 ssd with 3 yr applecare...I believe I really came ahead on this deal...

UK people remember you can get 3% cashback from Quidco or TopCashback on these.

EDIT: Ordered base model 11", says it will be here on Wednesday!

Purchased a new MacBook Air

Well, I just purchased a new MacBook Air 13" purely for the battery life. I'm a traveling salesperson - the 12-hour battery life simply cannot be beat. That pretty much eliminates my want/need for an iPad.

I am selling my 13" rMBP to SellYourMac.com and will break even.

I know some folks were disappointed - I'm not. I'm happy to get the extra battery life!

I'm thinking the same. Having a buyer for my mid 2012 11", I will recoup 75% of the cost. P.S... Love the MacPro.......after checking it out on Apple.com, it looks and sounds amazing. Very reminiscent of the Cube. I think this time, the timing is spot on......

Purchased the new MBA 13" 128GB/i5/8GB RAM

This is for my sister who goes to university... she will use it just for school and streaming videos mostly. And will sometimes use program like Parallels when she really needs to use windows... Did I make the right purchase for her?

I will be using my new MBA like what your sister will be using.
I plan on installing Windows 8 and Parallel also because some programs in my college courses will not be compatible with Mac OS.
The 8 GB RAM is the best choice.
However I chose the 256 GB SSD HD instead because I believe many of those kind of program will fill up the 128 GB fairly quickly.
