*cross fingers* that there are no wifi problems.
Congratulations on your first mac! I think i5/256/8 is the way to go. Enjoy it! (And Apple is working on that wifi issue...)

I was thinking i7 but many people say it's overkill and not needed, also making the laptop hotter than with i5

@bomp: Where can you see all these details? Mine says only Shanghai and nothing else...
Take the tracking number and input it here
BOMP...the UPS guy called...he'll be delayed a few days while he uses your new MBA to compete in the Angry Birds Tournament.
I ordered a new Air on the 25th, shipped on the 28th. The fedex tracking number was working fine up until today, this morning when I tried to check the status of my shipment, but fedex is telling me "No record of this tracking number can be found."
Has anybody else experienced this?

My MBA(13" 128GB with i7, 8gb ram upgrades) arrived in Koeln, Germany 30.06.2013 17:51. But the estimated arrival in Uppsala, Sweden is 4th of July That doesn't sound right given the time it has taken between stops so far, so I contacted UPS to see if it could be arranged I could pick it up someplace earlier.
It's correct as Germany is a hub so they will hold it to consolidate freight and ship as a consignment onto Sweden.
As for collecting earlier this will be a definite no. Apple are the customer and they must deliver to their specified address to avoid loss/theft and subsequent claims
Sorry I have worked in logistics for nearly 10 years so have a little deeper understanding of the internal procedures.
