Arrived and is running perfectly. Using file sharing now we can access all documents on the mac mini from everywhere in the house or garden.
Just bought my first Macbook Air after months of lurking, so excited! It's second hand, but a fully optioned 2014 model with i7 and 512Gb SSD. Will now head to Buying Tips and Advice forum with my questions
I finally got around to replacing my mid-2009 13" MBP with an 11" MBA maxed out refurb that arrived yesterday. Thing looks brand new.
I've had a week with a new MBA refurb, coming off a 2011 MBP, and though I'm not doing anything too strenuous with it (or transporting it anywhere), I am just enamoured.
I got a refurb 11 inch air. After being disgusted with Windows lately and not really needing a desktop compueter anymore, I'm welcome to change.
What year? Mine is the 2013. I figured that would be the oldest I'd want to get.
Early 2015 maxed out. Very fast machine for what I do. I've never experienced a laptop that actually worked as well as my desktops, but I've only had windows laptops in the past. What a difference!
Just picked up my 13" MBA, 2015. Loving how light and thin it is, plus powerful.
Just put an oder in for a 11" 256gb for my brother yesterday after his 2011 MBP was stolen, it should be here by Friday and I am excited to try it out before he gets home from vacation.
Not yet, I'm waiting to either get approved to get it covered through the school or if I get declined then I will have to wait for my OSAP, I am hoping to have it by the end of Sept.
I just ordered my 13 inch Air 256gb HD last night and it should be here by Friday! I can't wait to get it.
Shipped today so now the estimate is that it'll be here on Thursday! I am so excited, Goodbye to my heavy MBP 2011
That is exactly why I went back to the Air. That small difference is HUGE!

Just purchased my first mac after using windows laptops/pc's for the past 5-10 years.
I managed to grab myself a 2014 13inch MacBook air, with 256SSD, and 4GB ram, refurb.
Thought i would be kicking myself for not getting 8GB as ram (out of a force of habit due to using windows) but have been surprisingly happy with it.
I have opened multiple Crome and Safari tabs, Spotfiy playing, and general playing around with the device and couldnt get the ram into the yellow.
I have 12 days of my refund period left so ill play around on it. Even through the screen isn't retina (it looks great) and im happy with it

Picked up a MBA on CL. Found a 2014 4gb 128ssd for $500. (73 Battery cycles). I wanted an 11.6 inch but settled for 13.3 due to price. Not a mark on it. Used it at work today and was quite impressed.
