Card just got charged (or at least the €0 hold was turned into full amount reservation) 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Status still “being processed” and dates Aug 1-8.

The status finally changed from PTS to Shipped. This will replace my trusty 2012 MBA. Such a long run with my MBA, I became attached to it.
Nothing yet, my midnight 24GB still in 'Processing' status and i checked cc this morning, no pending or posted charges yet.
I can’t, an error pops up. Called the UPS Customer service, talked with them for nearly 30 minutes and they couldn’t resolve this. I hope that if I give them a call they can manually do the features of the MyChoice account.
Ordered first 5 minutes last week. Just got notice has "shipped" and expected by July 21. (US address)

I received my order confirmation email 4 minutes after ordering opened on July 8.

Original ship date July 18-25. This morning it changed to July 26-Aug 2. 😓

I think Apple sandbags the delivery dates a bit. Better to be early than late.
At least that's been my experience. Almost always at the beginning of the promised window or earlier than that.
I chose store pick up for my BTO as I have had missed deliveries and deliveries that “got lost”. But I am regretting that a bit now. I know my apple store now has it because althought the status is still listed as “shipping to store”, I received my emailed gift card this morning. I figure apple store has to stagger pick ups to prevent overwhelming the employees, but I wish my pick up date at least would move up from 7/22 to earlier next week. So hard to be patient.
Early July 8th order to US, 10core/16GB/512GB/67W Starlight MBA, both Apple and UPS say shipped now, UPS says Monday July 18th delivery, Apple indicates arrives 7/21. Original promises were 7/21+, then 7/22+. UPS (and Fedex) have routinely been slipping on delivery date promises this year. Looks like I will get it sometime next week.
My BTO went into Preparing to ship today. Yay, did. not expect that until late next week. Let’s see when it will actually be shipped.

Then when it changed to Preparing to Ship, the date said 7/22-7/26. I got the Shipped email this morning which said 7/21. UPS Tracking says delivery on 7/18. Who knows when it'll actually show up!
That sucks. To know it's at the store and you can't go grab it must be frustrating.
My Midnight 8/8/256 w standard charger ordered July 8 @ 7:16 CST is still “processing” and shows July 18-25 delivery. nothing on my card yet.
Once more detailed reviews come out you’ll probably have cancellations and then your date might move up again.
