I am in USA, Mine moved from your dates to shipped on 7/19
On apple.com mine still says August 2 to August 9. I called Apple and they said August 1 to August 8.

Seems like others on here saw that minor change and then a more significant change soon thereafter.

I don't think I've seen anyone in the US mention any movement on a midnight BTO with the 8 core GPU. Truly regretting my decision to save $100 this wait is excruciating lol. COME ON AUG 2-9
I don’t think the extra 2 cores will make that much difference. The heat buildup in the fanless MBA M2 may throttle it anyway.

I’ve bought a laptop cooling pad that has a series of fans built in. At full speed you hardly hear the fans but they move quite some air. When I’m doing some heavy processing I’m planning on using this stand. Now if one would make a refrigerated stand, that would even be better but I haven’t found such a thing, yet.

Refrigerated would be awesome!

Zero movement on my space grey 8/16/256 (35w) order that was placed on 7/18. I canceled my previous order for the same configuration but in midnight after seeing the new colors at my local Apple Store. My initial order was placed on 7/8 and showed an estimated delivery date of 8/2 - 8/9. The new order shows the same dates so I would think that it should start to move soon but atlas there’s been no activity. Just have to continue to wait and see I guess.

Sigh.. The UPS site/app still says it's coming tomorrow but the updates have just died off ever since the claimed machine fault in China or wherever. I just wish they could make it clear where the box is right now, at least.

Same for me. I’m hoping we see some movement tomorrow when the next UPS flight takes off. 🤷‍♂️

Ack, my first dive back into Mac territory in a long while. Ordered a midnight 8/10/16/2TB on the 18th, expected delivery is August 9-16. Hope there's a decent hard case available by the time I get it.

So you placed a new order on 7/18 for something other than Midnight?

Which one did you get? Looking to have one for my desk, so only when I am attached to my monitor!

It’s quite strange. Ordered a silver 10C/16GB/1TB on July 12 with delivery of July 21-27 and have had no movement beyond “Processing”. The local stores also don’t have any silver on display. Has anyone gotten a silver yet? I see lots of midnight at the local coffee shops, and my space grey was delivered quickly, but no luck with silver…

Ordered a BTO Midnight/10core/1TB the first minute orders opened, card was charged today and the delivery date moved up a day (8/1-8/7). In my past experience there has been only a day or two from the charge being applied to actual shipment movement. Apple tends to underpromise and overdeliver on shipments of this sort.

You are too early, as it looks yours ain't went through customs yet, that step is coming next.
Also notice that 5X11 is just the callsign, meaning even if the current machine doesn't have your MBA and is on the way back to Seoul (as 5X20 I guess), there's already a new 5X11 arriving in Shanghai as 5X10 changing to 5X11 for your package.
this step should be visible as at least arrival / departure in korea. In the most cases (all for me) UPS does not mark it as departed from China but that could also come up, meaning it is definitely in 5X11

My old orders always were
- prior steps in EPZ
- cleared import customs
- arrived at (Zhengzhou)
- arrived at (Incheon, Korea) (few minutes after 5X11 landed in Seoul)
- departed at (Incheon, Korea) (also in time with 5X11)
- arrived at (Cologne, Germany) (few minutes after 5X11 landed in Cologne)
- destination scan
- out for delivery
- delivered

This was for my iPhone, M1 MBA, M2 MBA and my wife's iPad
Yay! I think my MBA is on the current 5X11 flight. Cleared customs and on it’s way at exactly the same time (6.05+6 hrs time difference) as the flight to Köln was planned to take off (12.05). 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Wonder how long it takes to get to my door after landing in Germany. UPS still has 7-27 but I guess it could be here even sooner.
Hope more people are getting to see some movement today.

I can understand your excitement, but I doubt it, since it makes at least one final departure scan before leaving the continent, either in Shanghai, Seoul, or both. In my case the "arrival" at Zhengzhou matched the takeoff time for 5X11 from Shanghai for some reason and next thing I saw was "arrival / departure scan" in Incheon/Seoul.
Also UPS is doing the bare minimum to provide a date, meaning that they want to make sure it doesn't come much earlier for you to be home.
Notice that the UPS status is usually already in the proper time zone, it should show the exact time any flight took off.

And UPS is doing the bare minimum to ensure a delivery date, don't take the date for serious, unless the plane really took off or you have at least a departure scan in Shanghai / Incheon, it is still there.

There's also no too early but definitely no "too late", if your package says Jul 27 but the plane didn't take off (see dep. scan) to arrive at least the day before (in the evening in cologne, in this case 26th), it could change to "delivery date will update" meaning you are bond to the departure scan to know when it will arrive later.

I saw some folks here having exactly this issue, mechanical problem which is usually staff problems. In the worst case the waggon with all the packages for that day was mistaken / misplaced, not able to be put in the plane in time, set aside, and in the worst worst case I saw people waiting weeks for their delivery date to update after this :(

Seems like apple is prioritising the bigger markets rather than who order first. My mate in L.A order the same device and specs as me (512GB 16GB midnight) he order his on Monday and arrived today. Meanwhile I ordered mine on Friday when pre orders opened and still not even shipped yet. (I’m in New Zealand)
