Alls quiet in Toronto with my reseller. Not a phone call to be had. I'm living off you guys for excitement.

I ordered yesterday to the uk so I'm not expecting it anytime soon. But I checked the order page and it said cancelled and then it shows a new laptop with the exact same specifications. Could this be it automatically updating my office 08 to office 11?

Possibly. I would guess that if they hadn't shipped it yet then why not update office.

Getting slightly pissed off that all the Americans are getting their BTO's before us Brits. Jeez doesn't apple tax count for anything anymore? Hell even the bloody ozzies have gotten BTO's before us.;)

Not all orders are going to the US...
I have already received my BTO 13/2.13/4/256 here in Australia...

and as for us bloody aussies... well only one flight needed to get from Shanghai (Pudong) to Australia!

Well, I ordered the Maxed out 13" yesterday hoping it would get to me before Friday. I wanted it to go with me on my vacation so when I found out it wasn't going to arrive before I leave then I cancelled it.

A few hours ago during lunch I walked over to the Apple Store in the Upper West Side in NYC and I couldn't believe that they had a 13" 2.3GHz/4GB MBA in stock! Of course I didn't waste any time and bought it immediately.

If you're looking to get the maxed out 13" MBA and you're in NYC then go get them while they're still around. They didn't have it when I called yesterday so it must have arrived today.

:)

All I can say ladies and gentlemen....

It was totally worth the wait versus snapping up the stock 13" model from my local store. While this machine is no where near as powerful as my 15" i7 8gig MBP, it FEELS quite snappy for all my ordinary office tasks and even photo editing. I've got my IT guys installing our custom company design software on it right now and they are all gathered around it like its Apple Porn or something. Totally geeking out about how svelte it is. Once I get it back from them I'll start running some benchmarks.

Very pleased with this netbook....love that new computer smell!!!!

You are hero. Keep posting these information please.

They've been pretty accurate estimates so far, I'd reckoned on our airs in cologne by 2130 utc tonight, however didn't factor 2hour layover Warsaw.

Maybe they could still get them to UK for van loading tomorrow morning, hmmmm.

Also as an aside, I suppose they have time on their side flying East to West.

I got the same config at Valley Fair store on Monday night!

I called ahead after reading some of the threads here and the woman told me they had "a few" in stock and that I had better come by soon if I wanted one.

It's awesome, I'm really liking it so far!

I ordered online 11.6/1.6/4GB/128 on Saturday too but it hasn't shipped. I called my local apple store in Costa Mesa, CA and the person told me they have the config in stock including the 4GB 13-inch models. I canceled my order and will be picking one up tonight after work.
