My MBA 11/128/4 was supposed to deliver on Wednes. (tomorrow) but as I followed the tracking, I realized that it would deliver today. Of course no-one was home and we had to go pick it up---BUT-- love it. It is small and truly portable, but more robust than a mere netbook.
This is what I have been waiting for, I realize. When the MBA 13 first came out, I bought it thinking IT was portable...it wasn't. This IS.

Just ordered a maxed out 13" MBA from MacMall. I called and they said they're back ordered and that they won't get a shipment in from Apple until the 5th of November. 
Anyone mind finding tracking for this flight?

Judging by the seemingly epic amount of time it will take them to deliver, maybe they're using horse and cart from Cologne to UK. Their server told them this is most efficient GTFO UPS

Depends what you call normal, in this case most likely yes.
In the real, the world outside of Cupertino and little aluminium boxes no, it is certainly not normal.
Came home from an appointment at 10:15 AM and found a brand new 11.6 "maxed specs" Air at my door! WooHoo, came a day early.
Luckily, I had printed out the "leave it at the door" FedEx form and pasted it to my front door just in case
Anyway, I have it all set up the way I want it and damn is it nice! The screen is fantastic!
I do sort of miss the keyboard backlight, but I'll get over it.

I think that UK airports close around 1 AM, so it's possible that it's the same in Germany?
It's quite incredible really that it's taken 8days for delivery of a laptop, I can only think Apple is using the cheapest shipping they can, which I wouldn't mind had I the option to get 2day delivery at a cost.

It depends how you see it... Sure I would have liked that from the moment I have ordered the MBA the delivery is within a few days. But on the other hand I had great fun with the people here about anticipating where the MBA is, which airplane it took etc.
