Judging by the small amount of time I had to play around with the 13" the display is just as good as my Z11 @ 1600x900 and I am waiting for mine to be delivered.
If they stuck to the 1280x800 resolution I would never of sold my Z11
To me the screen does not look washed out at all.

Does anyone know the difference between "in transit" and 'departed fed ex facility"?
For some reason mine is "in transit" in Anchorage and didn't depart. This is it's second day there.
Guess I will have to wait until next week.

If memory serves, UPS deliveries usually come to me very late in the afternoon, and my UPS guy hardly waits long enough for me to get the door before he runs off...

Standard shipping for me. I always forget to hit "ship it to me now, or I'll cry" option. I then sit there wondering why I didn;t click it, and stare at the Fedex website wishing it to change.
Do UPS do anything over the weekend as my MBA has just arrived in Poland but Apple still says Tuesday for delivery?

A UPS plane at East Midlands airport has been stopped due to bombs disguised as printer cartridges. The next stop after Cologne to the UK by UPS is East Midlands airport. I hope this doesn't hold my MBA up.
In other news - my MBA is still sitting in Cologne. I hope it departs tonight, arrives in the UK tomorrow morning and gets to the Cumbernauld depot tomorrow before their customer services desk close so I can go pick it up

That's insane! You should have gotten yours with us (if you ordered on Oct 20 launch day). I don't think expidite works with us as I thin were the first in GTA to get.
