I'm pretty much praying for a Monday delivery as I'll actually be home then! (It is scheduled for Tuesday though). I'm just happy it's out of China!!

BTW, what does int'l shipment release mean?

WOW - a new update. My computer is out of Anchorage at 4:58 (Alaska time) the same time that FDX5092 took off for Memphis! It should be in Memphis by 1:30 am CST! Now I have to see if there is a flight from Memphis to Dallas! There is still hope I can pick this thing up tomorrow!!

BTW, Int'l shipment release means it has cleared customs (I believe). Where is your computer at this point?

Your FedEx track actually says Memphis! This is what mine says - Oct 29, 2010 4:58 PM Departed FedEx location ANCHORAGE, AK. I"m guessing mine went to Memphis b/c a flight left Anchorage at 4:58 to Memphis. Looks like our computers may have been separated at this point. I can't find any Sat. FDX flights from Memphis to the Dallas Area but, mine should be here on Monday, too! Sorry about your heat ignitor. Maybe they have the part in Alaska!

Whoops 'my bad'... I kinda just assumed it was heading there and when I saw that flight 9020 departed at 5:15 (9 minutes after the scan), it was on there.. headed for Memphis! Currently enroute. I thought your flight was scheduled at 4:30?

Nope, mine was scanned at 4:58 and a flight left Anchorage for Memphia at 4:58. Like you, I'm drawing a conclusion. We will have to compare notes in the morning. Did you get the 11 or 13?

Fully loaded 11" here. I know the 13" is a better value and has the SD card slot I've ALWAYS wanted but when I saw that 11" in the apple store, I sooo just wanted it! I'm actually going down from a 2.8 C2D macbook pro to this machine! I have a mac mini desktop that will most likely be hooked up to a HDTV. My 24" Apple Display that was for the macmini will be my MBA work monitor at home most likely.

This is fun stalking our packages - everyone is probably sick of us! But I've watched everyone else's packages reach their homes too up to now!

mine also left anchorage at 4:07 local time. headed to NJ, same estimated delivery date of 11/2. where are you two located?

What kind of Order Acknowledgement you received?

Dear All - What kind of email Acknowledgement(s) from Apple that you receive before your Order status is changed to "Shipped" or at least "Prepared for Shipment" (from "Not Yet Shipped"):-

Did you receive anyone or all the below?
1 - Order Acknowledgement (with Web Order No.)
2 - E-Invoice for your Order ****

My purchase order have not change since Oct. 20 (still at "Not Yet Shipped"). I only receive Order Acknowledgement Item (1) from Apple on Oct. 28.

How about you? Please share your experience....thanks..

I had one email stating the order was confirmed, and then another stating the MBA was shipped.

When did you order?
Did your status also change to "Prepared to shipment" before you receive the above email?

As I said, I got 2 emails... One to confirm the order, which was on the 23rd, and then an email on the 26th telling me it was shipped...

I ordered the Ultimate 13.3-inch and also the ACPP for the MBA.
I received both purchase with an Order Acknowledgement like yours above.
However, I receive a 2nd email only stated an E-Invoice for my ACPP purchase (but no tracking number. It stated will be shipped on 2/11).
There is no E-Invoice for my MBA purchase. Weird....

But till today, I have not receive any further shipment change to my order.
I was trying to gauge if the order starts on Oct. 28 (instead of the original Oct. 22), will it take another 2-4 more days to ship status?

here is my timeline for reference:

10/23 5:30 PM order placed
10/23 8:30 PM order acknowledgement receipt/email received (and payment processed)
10/27 10:40 AM order shipped email (with tracking number)

and then the above screenshot shows progress. estimated delivery 11/2, but it's already less than 50 miles from me, so i'm hoping for tomorrow or at the latest monday (11/1).

Mine is on the same shipping track as yours since they left Shanghai - only that mine was already scanned there first on October 27. And now they changed the delivery date to November 4, which is another 6 days from today - just to get it shipped from Cologne to Vienna?!? Amazon does it within 3 days from Germany, and they use the regular post service. And I can't remember waiting for more than 48 hours for shipments coming from the US on UPS.
If I wouldn't save that much money on the AoC program, I'd be eager to just walk over to the next local Apple store, buy the MBA there, and return the shipped MBA once it arrives.
