Just to add my 2 cents. I have finally received my 13" and... I am not really impressed

. I have been with Apple many years and always bought anything first before having good look. I think that will change from today. I think I wouldn't buy it if I had a chance to see it first.
Nice things about it are:
- size combine with weight,
- battery life
- speed ok..ish,
- very quiet,
- trackpad touch gestures
Negative things are:
- no backlit keyboard,
- lack of memory but that was expected
- it not as cool looking as advertised,
- not big deal with screen resolution (maybe because I got 27" iMac

),
- cheap looking keyboard/keys with this lack of softness when pressed,
- price after overall
Anyway I have bought it for my miss for light usage so it will do the job. However if iPad would have more functionality implemented such flash plugin (yea..i know

), camera, proper Microsoft Office package, and few more extras not available there yet, then most likely I would go for 2 x iPad.
Bottom line is that it is my personal opinion. I am sure many will disagree with me but thats the way I see new MBA
