I wonder if the terrorist attacks through freight shipping have suddenly changed things in terms of delivery times.
That would seem like the most plausible explanation so we just need to sit back and wait to see when they leave Cologne.
My MBA has been stuck in Sydney for almost 30 hours. Its like a 2 hour plane trip to where I live. Surely there is no need for it to be there so long...

My delivery date was originally the 2nd of November, then it changed to the 29th of October, then it went to the 1st of November and now it's gone back to the 3rd of November
And my Macbook seems to have falled off the planet - it left Cologne 9 hours ago but hasn't arrived at East Midlands Airport yet

Ordered on 10/22 and then called on 10/24 to add expedited shipping. No change in arrival date! Called again about the Expedited shipping and it appears the guy charged me but didn't add to the package. Probably why my computer hung out in Anchorage for an extra day. They gave me a credit for the Shipping. Package is now in Memphis. Needs to get to Dallas. Not sure what happens over the weekend. Hopefully, it gets on that truck on Monday! Where are you?

My purchase order have not change since Oct. 20 (still at "Not Yet Shipped"). I only receive Order Acknowledgement Item (1) from Apple on Oct. 28.

I never received an order acknowledgement when I placed the order - very unusual. I did have an invoice emailed when it shipped!

Just received my 2.13 with 4GB Ram
So I received my 13" maxed out last night that was ordered on the 27th. I assume I got it fast because I ordered through our business rep. So first thoughts/ Keep in mind this is my first air so I did not own any of the previous ones but I have read several peoples comments that they don't get that hot. I call BS. My 2.13 gets just as hot on the bottom and just below the display where the hinge is as my MBP which is several years old. Also just while installing office 08 with CPU usage at 8% the fans kicked to what appeared to be full speed. Fairly noisy in my opinion. However the machine is pretty snappy. Ill have to give it some more paces before a final verdict.

Ordered my 11.6" 1.6/4GB/128GB through work on the 28th and is now "prepared for shipment".
Hoping to see it next week, of course my Waterfield sleeve case will get here first

Someone dropped the ball on mine!
I ordered my MacBook air 11" on 10/22/10 was shipped out from Shanghai on the 25th with a delivery date from fedex of 10/29/10 by 4:30pm. Sounds great. Well I heck the tracking info the 28th and it still says it arrived in Memphis tn as it has said for 2 days but my delivery date of Friday is still the same. So I figured maybe a glitch in the system no big deal. Then I find out my buddy who lives 2 minutes from me an ordered his same system config at the same time as mine was delivered an mine was still coming the next day (Friday) I wait around all day yesterday (Friday) as fedex tracking says it will now be here by 2pm. Awesome I think.. NOT! Fedex tracking still shows it never left Memphis an it's now 4pm I called fedex 4 different times because I couldn't get a straight answer. Apparently they claimed my shipment was mislabeled in China an wound up going to Illinois instead of Florida but they claimed they fixed the sticker on the package an it will be delivered. They just don't know when. They were the worst customer service and won't admit they are wrong an wouldn't express it to me overnight for their screwup. Coldnt be more pissed. So now my tracking information does not even have a delivery date and it shows it is BACK in Memphis again as of 5am this morning. But the tracking never said it went to Illinois so I think I'm being screwed with. Case in point I better Get this thing by monday an will never deal with fed ex again. The excitement of eventually receiving this thing isn't that great anymore especially as my buddy has his and made me feel even more screwed over.

although you've got a 'departure' scan from cologne that really just means that its passed thru inbound cargo handling and been passed over to outbound.
As a result could be in Cologne waiting on next flight out or could already have landed at East Mids waiting for someone to scan it in.

Any idea if UPS at East Midlands work over the weekend? I'm guessing they don't since my delivery date has been put back to Wednesday.
generally anything Ive imported in past that only shows up at a UK international hub by a saturday morning never seems to get the next part of its scan progressed till at least Sunday evening though that could just be Sods Law on my part.
Add in the incident yesterday and there might be a fair amount of backlog that they now need to play catch up with at East mids, my guess is that's one reason why the ETDs got moved back till Wed from the previous Mon/Tuesday delivery estimates they were quoting.

My MBA arrived early this morning in Memphis... Still there. I was hoping it would get to Chicago and sit there for the weekend but I'm still crossing my fingers while it's sitting in Memphis...

Found my exact machine locally! They will let me return the one that arrives via FedEx. Now I can load it up this weekend!!! Thrilled!!
Yup! 13.3/2.13GHz/4GB/256GB Flash storage! They said they got them in late yesterday (I called at some point yesterday). Even the storage manager wasn't sure but it checked with someone who came back to tell me it was my lucky day! I explained the shipping issue - paid for expedited but never got it! They said I can bring the other one back when it gets here. Did yours land in Memphis? Still there?
Don't... I was contemplating driving about 150 miles to the UK delivery depot it'd be in over the weekend (if it hadn't got delayed)
