My new baby

Well I was going to post some pics of my 13"MBP and my Black MB but apparently I don't know how to post pics on forums.

I must say I am impressed with the screen. GORGEOUS.

You can post your images on the Forums quite easily, iag48 – give it a try!

To attach your file to a post, use the Manage Attachements button found under Additional Options, which you'll see when you click 'Reply to Topic' or 'Edit Post' (it's like a little paperclip). When you click on it, you'll see a pop-up window which allows you to manage your attachments.

Under 'File to Upload' click the Browse-button, find the image you want to post on your computer and click 'Choose'. If you want to add other images as well you can do, up to a maximum of five per posts. Make sure of course they're below the file size limits that are listed. Then you can click the 'Upload' button.

A message will appear to tell you the files are uploading, and after a short wait (which will depend on the size and number of files you're uploading) your image(s) will appear under 'Current Attachments'. You can now close the window, complete your post and when when you click 'Submit Reply' your image(s) will appear with your post.

Why does everyone want pics? It looks exactly the same as the Unibody MacBook, just with a different badge, Firewire and an SD reader.

It's good that Apple finally upgraded the display. I returned my 9C89 after one week of use.

I am just wondering if I am better off just buying either a Seagate 7200.4 or WD Black and installing it myself then upgrading with Apple.

7200.4 isn't performing as well as it should be (review). WD Black is faster in real life.

The updated screens on the unibody MacBook don't suck. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see a few pop up on the 13" mbp

Yeah, I know, improved lcd panel is the reason I've sold my 15'' uMBP a week ago. I just wanna be sure it's the only panel Apple is gonna use for new 13'' MBP.

I think the point he was making was that Apple started using new screens for the MacBook back in April, that were much better and on the same level of quality as the MBP and MBA.

It's likely that despite Apple announcing they would use the new screens on Monday, they have actually been using them for some months as they run out of the old screens. It's unlikely that Apple would suddenly start using new screens 2 months after they'd already updated them.

And yes I doubt they will be using any of the older screens.

here are some pics I took with my Iphone.

Btw, I'm loving this new track pad! The keyboard feels perfect. I got the educational discount, free iPod Touch, and some printer. Not too shabby. All I need now is to buy the mini dvi cable.

I'm so afraid of the Aluminum getting scratched. I need to get this baby a cover but do not know from where? I would live to have like a silicon case (ala iphone).

Eh, I wouldn't worry about scratching the aluminum; after all you're going to end up using it sooner or later, might as well enjoy the feel of it. Besides, they hold together pretty nicely.

Congrats on your machine

Quick! Put it back in the box. That way it will be fresh forever.
