Had my MBPR 15 a couple of days now, and i have to say this is the fastest machine i've ever owned, 2.6 i7, 16gb and 768gb SSD, and it runs windows a treat!

I just bought a 13 in rMBP 256 SSD this morning. So far i absolutely love it, its going to take some time to really get the hang of everything as this is my first mac but i don't see my self going back to windows any time soon. The screen blows anything i have ever used away and i haven't had any issues with lag or jerky scrolling like some people reported. But like i said this is my first mac and hopefully my experience stays positive for a long time.

Just ordered the rMBP 13" 8/256 from the Apple Refurb Store to replace my mid-2012 Air as my main computer. So excited.

Can't go wrong with a refurb. It puts the price of the 13" in a reasonable range. Nice purchase.

Thanks. Received it today, 1 day earlier than I expected, paid for express shipping.

Wow. What a very nice machine - maybe the BEST Mac I've ever owned.

Just received my $1699 refurb MBP 13" with Retina. It has a Samsung panel and they upgraded me to a 2.9 GHz i7. Nice.

I just ordered a rMBP 15" 2.6Ghz|16GB|512GB but it will take about 40 days to get it (live outside US) Can't wait! :p

Picked up my base 15" rMBP today, and I'm completely blown away. This screen is something else!

No issues thus far, no IR, no lag, no dead pixels, nothing. It's lightyears ahead of my 2010 Sony VAIO.

If you're on the fence, just do it. While it's my first Mac, I'm completely happy with this thing. Was a little concerned by posts on here, asked the guy at the store point blank, and so far it's running trouble free.

Thanks for the recommendations of going 15" over the 13", couldn't be happier!:D

wow, i'm using my 2010 vaio as well, i'm torn between 13'' or 15''.....
man....it's hard

got my rMBP 13" the other day.

Cannot believe how lovely the screen is. Is my first mac, I am very glad. Looking forward to Ubuntu becoming more stable though.

I have a U3011, cannot seem to get HDMI or thunderbolt to work over 1920 :(.

Just ordered my 15" rMBP, base model refurb.

Will be my first refurb and my second Macbook, as i currently have a MBA 2011 13.3". A little worried about buying a refurb especially after spending that much money. But nevermind! I love my mac and i use it everyday, so why not get one of the, if not the best laptop out there!

Got my MBP 15 mid 2012 for almost two weeks now and had so much fun with it.
Got Windows 7 Pro installed as well.
Now, I am looking for a good deal on Parallels 8 (bundle).

Just got my 13" mbp two days ago. First mac and love it. Can anyone tell me whats the best case for this at a reasonable price?

You can also explore wrapsol.. And then sleeves.,

Speck cases are pretty popular also but I do not want to hide the beauty of my Mac :)

While I'm certainly looking forward to receiving my Mac, I'm afraid I'll go through some sort of "OS-shock" where I'll be overwhelmed with having to relearn the in's and out's of the Mac. For example, I can safely and reasonably navigate Win7 like the back of my hand, even some of the "advanced" functions, but I'm afraid I won't be getting to that stage with a Mac anytime soon.:D:DImage

I am a Windows user for about 15 years. Only took me to learn OS x in just an hour together with the gestures! Cool stuff!

got my 2012 mbp 13.. 2.5/4/500

am a happy chappy... just come from a 2010 mbp

cost me £640 with warranty until end nov

Got the same deal and am returning the MBA w/the same specs that I bought last week. Express delivery should have it in my hands no later than Monday--can't wait!

I am curious why they're charging $80 MORE for the 128GB vs. the 256GB on the refurbished rMBP 13" (both w/8GB RAM & i5). Am I missing something?

Just the processor 100 MHz speed bump. It's now discontinued, but it's still an amazing deal!
