Juat ordered mine today, the refurb 13 " retina w/ 256gb. Im so glad that I didnt overpay for this. Thanks to the ppl in the forum that made me realize that there were few, if any risk in ordering refurb compared to new stock.

I ll post again when it arrives next week. Does anyone know if I should expect the same shipping notifications with refurb units?

Walked in Bestbuy today,, saw they had some nice clearance sales. There is a floor model late 2011 mbp 15 2.2GH core i7 , 500G hard drive for 940. Can't pass that right? U guys think its a good deal?

I ordered a custom RMBP on wednesday from US but the online status still shows processing item. How long does it take to manufacture it?:apple:

Mine took about a week. The delivery estimate Apple provided when you ordered the rMBP will be close.

I ordered mine (Base 15" cMBP with Antiglare) on Wednesday too and it still shows Processing Items. I feel your pain. It's really hard to keep waiting for such amazing products :D Time just passes by slowly :D

I ordered 2 iPads (3rd Gen) and an iPod Nano (engraved) from the Apple Online Store before (ordered each one on different occasions). They all took a week or less from ordering to delivering and shipping all the way from Netherlands to UAE, but this order seems that I'll take more time to deliver.

just ordered a 13" rMBP this am:

3.0GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
256GB Flash Storage

and as i'm typing this, just got the text that my order has shipped.

I shouldn't be this excited!

After thinking about it for about three years and doing research until my head felt like it would burst for about the last 18 months... I have finally placed an order :D:D:D

Refurbished rMBP 2.3, 8GB, 256GB

Sooooooo excited to finally be getting it! :D

i also have just order a Refurbished rMBR 15" ^^ my mom will take home next Sunday :x just cant wait. hope it will have a samsung screen :x

Just joined the rank of rMBP13 owners! My sight has deteriorated over the past few months and the screen of my beloved MBA was becoming a strain. I went in to check the retina screen and ... Bam. All my problems solved. I appreciate that performance wise it may not be anything to write home about, but it should still be faster than my base 2011 MBA 13 was...and at this point it is more important to be able to see!

Should arrive by Tuesday. Excited!

Minr has arrived, 3 days after ordering....

Gearing up to purchase a 15" refurb retina. Just need to decide if AU$380 is worth it to jump from a 2.30Ghz 256GB to a 2.60Ghz 512GB model.

You should spend the extra cash on upgrading the ram instead. The ssd can be replaced later (altho would void applecare), the microprocessor to some extent also. But the ram can pretty mcuh never be replaced.

I can't upgrade the ram on refurb and the new models + upgraded ram are outside of my budget unfortunately (A$740 more than the base model refurb). If it came in budget I would in a heartbeat.

13" rMBP, 2.6Ghz, 256GB - got it y'day.

Love love love. First time Apple user after 20 years of Windows. What a breath of fresh air.

I got an 2.4/16gb/512

Mine just got shipped to the apple store. I am scared to find out if my new macbook will have any issues...!. Can anyone point me to the right thread for the tests to be performed to check if its having any issues?

Don't go looking for problems or you'll probably start seeing them where there aren't any. If there is really an issue with your new computer, it will find you quick enough.

My refurb 15" 2.6/8/512 is supposed to arrive tomorrow. My first refurb experience but at $820 less than the 2013 2.7 model it was hard to look past.

How are the refurb rMBPs? They coming in with the hardware fixes (screen/overheating)?
Refurbs will be no different from new, still a lotto if you're referring to screen versions (LG vs Samsung).

Bought mine yesterday from BestBuy since I had a ton of giftcards. 2.7/16/512. Have LG revision 1 screen, and the SanDisk SSD. No issues right now but we'll see if IR pops its ugly head.
