Just ordered 13 inch and a apple wireless keyboard delivery between 28th and 31st dam I'm excited but I think that these last few days are going to be the hardest one ever. I know first world problems.

Configuration
2.4GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
256GB Flash Storage
Apple Thunderbolt to Enet Adpt

Ordered the 13.3 Macbook Pro Retina with this configuration. Very excited. Coming from the older Retina 13.3.

Configuration
2.4GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
128GB Flash Storage

Upgraded to 8gb of ram for 90 dollars, think its worth upgrading the processor too for another 90? I don't use the computer for anything really intensive. But I will be streaming 4K content to my tv.

Just pulled the trigger. Mostly maxed out 15", just 512 SSD. Even spung for the express shipping. Only $15 and I get it a couple days sooner. :D

Ordered the new 15"

2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage

The one with the Iris 5200 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory.

I'm happy.

Ordered mine. :D

just got my email confirmation for:

13"/2,4/16/256!!

...spent an extra 18 for expedited shipping

Ordered the new 13" Retina 2.4GHz 8GB 256GB SSD
with a MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter for my current at home setup (I'll have the new adapter in my bags when I'm on the move)

I honestly was hesitating, as I already have a 2011 13" i5 2.4 with after-market 8GB and 180G SSD which was running awesome after my upgrades. The Retina graphics, improved performance, extended battery life and hopefully reduced fan noise (which the 2011 was notorious for) will be a welcome change. Hopefully this purchase gets subsidized by the sale of my current laptop

I'm thinking of cancelling my order and getting the i7 instead of the i5. Not sure if it'll make any real difference though.

I went for the i7 just because. Go for it! My configuration is i7/8GB/256GB, perfect config for me.

Woohoo! Before you ask, I get an 8% discount on Apple products through my employer. The 2.6GHz and 1TB upgrades should have bumped the price to $3,299.

It was on 10/14/2008 that I purchase the unibody MacBook that this new computer will replace. 5 years between hardware upgrades was unthinkable when I was a PC guy.

How long until the refurb 13" rMBP goes on sale and at what price? I'm thinking of buying the base model with 8 GB RAM ($1400), but I might just pick up last year's model right now for $1060. Is last year's refurb likely to drop once this year's refurb starts selling?

I bought a maxed out MBP 7 years ago. It's still kicking ass today, and I'm scared it's going to get mad at me for replacing it too early.

Max out if you can, and run it to the ground.

Hi I think wait should be around 3-4 months. Old stock should drop price soon, so you may grab a good deal. I recently bought a 2012 retina 13 in the max out config (2.9/8/768) that used to cost $2900 for $1800 with over $1000 in licenced software, keyboard and superdrive, 9 cycles in battery, so good deals are available; I'm tempted with selling it to get the new one but cannot get a similar spec for less than $2500 so it is not worth for me now, perhaps a refurbished later may do the trick.

Ordered just now with estimated shipping date of Oct 30-Nov 1st. I also get a discount via my employer.
I also ordered the USB SuperDrive, which delivers Oct 28th.

I'm excited :D my first retina macbook pro! i had the non-retina before this and this is my 2nd mac computer purchase! :)

Had to change the shipping to 2-3 day. It's only one day earlier but I'm done waiting. I want it as quickly as possible. I have only rarely used my 2008 Macbook pro since the screen died on me, so I've been missing OS X and all the great apps, mainly Alfred and hell, even Finder!

Ordered my wife a 13" loaded CTO rMBP:

2.8 GHz i7
16 GB RAM
512 GB SSD
Japanese keyboard

Thank god we got a 16 gig RAM option on the 13"!!!

I see a lot of people getting the 512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage. Is 1TB too much memory? I starting to regret it now :(

We have the same order... I added 2tb time capsule and extra power adapter to mine. Plus I used edu discount.

I don't think it is too much, but rather people is not willing to put the extra $500 for it. If they had 768GB option in between for $250 more that would most likely sell better IMHO. I have the 768GB and am using 414GB with a ton of music, photos, videos and school and personal files, so for me the 1TB would mean having the drive at 50% capacity.
