I ordered this early morning a MBP 13" 2.8ghz/16GB/512GB
And delivered time is posted like 4november......SPAIN SUCKS!!!
everybody i read in this thread receive their MBP in average a few days or next week

I must be a lunatic.
I caved... my hands are shaking, I just ordered the 15" 2.6/1TB configuration, to be delivered between 31st Oct-4th November.
I have been waiting to buy a laptop for nearly 2 years and been surviving on an old 2006 Fujitsu. I started a Computer Science degree at University this September and so I decided to combine my savings with the Education discount and go all-in for the maxed out model. It's got to last me 4-5 years so... here goes!
Apart from programming, using electronics CAD software and gaming, I also love playing keyboards/synthesizers and want to enjoy the music stuff available on the Mac. My old laptop has been Hackintoshed for some time and I really appreciate OSX, so I am looking forward to the real full-fat experience!
My first new laptop, and my first Apple computer purchase. I really hope I've made the right choice(!)

What's with the "country kit"? Mine says the same thing, I wonder if it's a typo for accessory kit, which is what my original order confirmation email said?

I ordered this the same day as everyone else, chose 2-3 day shipping (next day wasn't available yesterday), isn't BTO and since today morning (around midnight), mine's been stuck on "Arrival Scan" in Shanghai. Everyone's been getting it either today or tomorrow, but my order still says that it will arrive on October 28. So disappointing.

Dammit! And I might be getting my BTO the same day as you. Kind of ridiculous that it takes almost a week to get a base model.
But when I ordered a Mac a few years ago, it came a day early and the shipping status wasn't even updated to let me know it was coming. So you still have hope yet.
Just bought the 13" 2.4 i5/256ssd/8gb ram!!! Can't wait! I was originally going to wait for BB/Amazon to add these models, but it seems like they aren't going to ship until mid November? Upgrading from a Early 2011 MBP 13".
I did - I've waited since February and that was enough to get me thinking and saving. I decided to downgrade to 2tb, and will add on an external drive later.

mine is at the same place as yours and is not BTO
but delivery date is friday october 25th.
Did you pay for the 2-3 day shipping or is yours standard shipping?
Either way, I'm not sure why it says Monday for me but sounds like I should be getting mine on Friday. Hopefully by morning when I wake up, they will change the estimated delivery date to Friday.
If not, I'll be pretty disappointed. Getting it on Monday will mean I won't have as much time (as I would on the weekends) getting my development environment set up. I'm pretty much busy all week trying to complete projects and what not and will have to use my Linux crapbox for one more week.
I also wonder why Apple didn't offer next day shipping when I was ordering mine, as I would have paid for that. But they do offer it today.

Getting around 875 MB/s read and 975 MB/s write speeds. No dead pixels or image retention.
Mavericks is a proprietary build 13A3017, not the retail build. Just an FYI. So those of you looking to make flash drive installs of Mavericks need this build, not the one from the Mac App Store.

I ordered my BTO 15" MBP on 10/22 (yesterday) via Apple online and forgot to specify 2 day shipping, so I just called and they offered to change it to 2 day shipping for FREE! Just thought I would pass that along in case no one else mentioned that you could do it.

I wasn't going to bother since it only seemed to shave a day off the arrival date for me, but if they're willing to upgrade me for free...
Just got back from BestBuy and was able to pick up 1 of the 2 15" high-end models of the new rMBP they got in today. Pretty excited but unfortunately can't mess around with it till the weekend. Just happy to have it in hand ready for me though, I was expecting BestBuy stores not to have them in till November since I had gift cards with them I needed to use.
