Hey guys, my order finally shipped but I noticed something *additional* when I got my shipment notification. Here's a pic on the order page:

Now on my notification email I see these 3 additional adapters are included:

Not sure if this is normal since I'm aware each of these adapters are sold separately, or if they're just thrown in for free because this was a EPP order?

I've had the very same 3 adapters mysteriously added to the "shipped" email. I can't figure out why they appeared. Some people think that the "No" means they are NOT included... but then why bother to write them in?

Edit: see my post about this at https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=18248007#post18248007

Now it's sitting in Louisville.

There was a UPS flight between SDF and YYZ that was timed perfectly for it to be on... but apparently wasn't.

That stings.

Hate to be the barer of bad news, but it won't come straight to YYZ.

It will be going to mount hope in Hamilton. So look for flight there. It will do the import scan there and put to local dept.

Where are you located? I am in Mississauga and it took 3 business days

So is it flying to YHM then? I've seen one other tracking history somewhere back in this thread that shows it scanning through Mississsauga (YYZ, presumably) and then Mount Hope. Weird.

I'm in Pickering. Was that 3 business days from Shanghai, or from Louisville?

Hey guys, finally got my macbook. Too busy sorting everything out to explain how much I love this. I have one concern though, I supposed to have got the Apple Care warranty along with my student discount but I didn't get any documents with the packaging or any extra confirmation, should I be concerned?

JUST got my rMBP 15/2GHz/16GB/256GB/Iris Pro MINUTES ago :eek::eek:

Was scheduled for a late-Wednesday delivery, but because of delays by the storm, it got in the delivery truck today :D Mwahahaha! Looking so much forward to booting this baby!:eek::cool::apple::rolleyes:

I think I got the documentation about Apple Care separately on my last computer. You can always call Apple to confirm.

Went in store last friday and picked up a new 13" retina MacBook Pro, 2.4/256/8 model!

If it wouldn't stop freezing that would be nice, apple has a week and a half to put out a fix for this...

Other than that, this is my first mac, and am very happy with it thus far!

But I've had to go and customise all the icons. They were all pretty atrocious before I touched them up (non-inappropriately)

My upgraded Macbook Pro I ordered last week just shipped this morning. It's going FedEx.. from the looks of it, most of you had yours shipped through UPS. I remember using UPS for my iPhone 5s and it got from China to here in 2 days... FedEx can't have the computer from China to here until next week... Does anyone know why there is such a big difference? Is it the size of the macbook compared to the phone? Or a different chain between FedEx and UPS?

Could be different routes then but mying went straight to mount hope and then mississauga. Ill post the screen shot when on laptop.

3 business days from Shanghai.

Ordered 23rd evening, shipped 24th morning and after watching it sit the entire weekend in the Mississauga depot. It arrived 28th morning :)

What kind of times are people seeing to go from preparing shipping to shipped? (Ignore weekends.)

Mine is getting ready to leave now, but I'm hitting refresh pretty frequently. If it leaves now, I could get it by Friday, but each passing minute pushes it closer to next Monday!

No issues so far for me :) Battery lasted about 6 hours 30 mins from 90% which isn't great but I have been downloading and installing all day, still am.

Just ordered.

15-inch Retina MacBook Pro
- Haswell 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
- 16GB 1600MHz memory
- 512GB PCIe-based flash storage
- Intel Iris Pro Graphics
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

Upgrading from a late-2007 aluminum MacBook Pro, which I will put up for sale on eBay pronto. Best of all, my new MacBook is ready for in-store pick-up today!

Wow, that's speedy. Is it safe to assume it was a non-BTO model? Did you do regular or "expedited" shipping?

I ordered a BTO about 20 minutes or so after the store re-opened on the 22nd, and it's still in-transit, with UPS reporting a scheduled delivery date of Friday, Nov 1.

I'm kind of having non-buyer's remorse for *not* springing for faster shipping. It seems to have spent a good deal of time just sitting in one location or another.

I had to leave the house for about 45 minutes today for a meeting with my professor at my University. Of course I hurried back, only to find out that UPS had chosen the 9AM - 7PM drop off, when I wasn't there...

Oh well, have to wait an extra day! :(

Lol I missed my delivery yesterday by 15 minutes. If I had arrived home 15 min earlier from school I would have had it in my arms.

But today...
I was in school from 8:10 am to 5:05 pm. I live 2 min. from school, so I rushed about 6 times back to my house of hoping that UPS would arrive when I was there. I used the excuse that I needed to go to the toilet (for 20 min. lol). Sadly they didn't arrive the times I was at home. Then half an hour later they arrived!

Now I have my:
:apple: 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display 2.4GHz, 8GB Ram, 256 SSD

Awesome what specs did you get?

Wow, yours travelled fast.

Mine landed in Louisville at about 2am this morning. Still there, despite the two flights to Ontario that left about 3 hours afterwards (one to Toronto, one to Hamilton).

I've resigned myself to just waiting. It'll get here when it gets here.
