I ordered mine 5 minutes after the site went live after the event. That was tuesday.....it was on my doorstep on that Friday. No express shipping or anything.

2.3/16GB/256

Never received a product so fast.

Did you find any issues with your's such as ghost imaging or yellow screen tint or creaking case? alot of ppl are saying that the new mac makes creaking sounds.

Mine got serious backlight bleeding

I can't understand why there are still issues with the screens on these premium machines

Luckily, I can get the screen replaced right in the store. Takes about 15 minutes. So no need for sending it in, or wait for a replacement. So I don't have to be without a Mac for days/weeks :D (and don't need to reinstall a new machine). that's pretty neat!

Wow I can't beleive yours screen looks like that.

That's really awful . I've got a LG screen, and it's really great at the moment, so I hope it will stay that way.

I don't know if I would want my screen replaced cause I've heard stories where they replace it and leave scratches, personally I would get a new one since you are within your 14 days, I wouldn't want someone touching or messing with it espcieally if I just got it.

I bought a 4gig Haswell MBA, that was my mistake there. I upped the memory and processor on the rMBP because I had the budget for it and I tend to keep my PC's awhile. I still happily use a 2011 iMac and my windows box is 7-8 years old.

Why was the mba 4gig a mistake? I just bought one last saturday...

I know someone working in the store, and I can wait in store while they replace it. So I don't think there will be any issues at all :) If there is a single scratch, they'll get it back (still within the 14-day return window). So no problems

I just picked up my new Macbook Pro 15 2.3, 16GB. 512ssd and it is great. this is my first personal mac product, I use one at work but never got around to buying one for home. This thing is lightyears faster than my old laptop and I don't think I'll be going back to the pc world anytime soon.

Ordered my 15"/2.6/1TB on Tuesday. Wasn't expecting it to ship until tomorrow. Got a notification an hour ago that it shipped out from south from San Francisco to Portland! Stoked! No projected delivery as of yet. Is Saturday shipping standard for FedEx?

Does anyone here have the base model? If so please give me feed back, I have purchased the base model but I'm now thinking of getting the level up with the discrete graphics.

Status updated to expected delivery of Saturday! Wahoo!

Welp, after reading benchmarks, reviews, and saving money for what feels like an eternity, I finally I took the plunge!

My late 2008 (first unibody) MBP, while pimped up with max RAM and dual SSD:s, is still on its last leg. After being my main workhorse for almost 5 years, it's time to retire.

I ordered the stock higher-end 15" 2.3/16/512/750M.

Price tag here in the EU is a crazy €2649 which is like $3500 USD. The price difference sucks buffalo testes, but what do you do...

Will mostly use it for heavy Photoshop use, but maybe I'll wake up my inner gamer from its hibernation now that I've got decent graphics :D

CANT! WAIT!

15 / 2.6 / 16GB / 1TB / 750M / Samsung display

No issues so far. Don't even consider it, go buy buy buy while it's still new. Unreal computer!

yellow? maybe a little, but more of an illusion. Goes away when you move your head / the screen angle.

amongst the mass of today's ipad orders I slipped in a maxed out 15" rMBP

2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
1TB Flash Storage

Estimating delivery from 12-15 November. Quite a lead time. They must be selling the crap out of these.

I noticed that the 1TB SSD is causing it to jump from 1-3 days to 4-6. Must be a shortage.

I ordered a 15inch 2.6ghz 16GB 512GB mbp yesterday. They said it will arrive on November 12?! Why is it so late? I was hoping 2-4 days like it says on the website.

I live in California by the way.

I ordered mine over a week ago, still awaiting payment though. Hopefully it clears this weekend and then I'll have it sometime next week. Can't wait! :D

I will go and pick up my first Mac this afternoon at local store. So excited for new machine Haswell rmpb 13"/2.4/8/256.

Guys, maybe i got to ask you so many questions once i get it.

Thx in advance ;)
