How did you find out how it was shipped? Is there a way to track it on their site?

I bought a powerbook in the days of apecode.com/appletrack which let you track from K&N.

Anyway. I bought a Macbook Pro 17th inch at exactly the same time as you, in the UK. (Saturday 2pm!) and its estimated delivery was the 17th, but since it despatched it says the 16th :)

Hey Razor,

Log into your account on the Apple US store, it gives a little more shipping information than our UK store - Heaven knows why.

Go log on and check who's shipping yours

I just got my new macbook pro!

Hey everyone!

I just got my first mac (finally!). I found an awesome deal off craigslist for the 13" 2.26Ghz model for only $900! The guy was nice and I took a friend with me just in case I got owned. But everything worked out, apparently the guy got it as a gift and wasn't a mac person. The warranty checks out and everything is good! He got the macbook pro earlier this morning, so the warranty was for July 9, 2010 :-D. Everything was brand new in the packaging and he only opened it to see if everything worked properly. I re-ran the Setup Assistant, and now everything is mine! :-D

I'm excited to see what I can do with this mac!

FedEx initially said the shipment would be here on the 14th, but it got moved up to the 11th after it shipped this morning. Any chance it could come tomorrow?!

Bring your receipt and return it and repurchase it. There should be no problems if you just bought it and your a student/teacher.

New one here

My MBP 13" arrived last week. I dissassembled it before turning it on to swap the HD with my old White MB (Intel 950).

One note, changing battery is simple as removing cover. Yopu don't need a tech guy to swap it.

I hoped to use the old operating system to begin working.
No way. MBP comes with a different build of 10.5.7 so the one I 've on the Withe MB didn't support audio and other features of the MBP.
I'had to reinstall Mac OSX from the disk I found in the box and then migrate everything.

I'm using MBP from one week and ... it rocks!

I only hate to have the combo in/out audio connector. I'had to buy griffin imic.

Mine now says the following:
Current Delivery Status - In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule - 10 Jul 2009
Could it come today? I haven't been given a tracking number yet :(
And I'm in the UK, my local UPS depot is like a 5 minute walk away! :D So if it's staying there, I might pick it up :D But I need to know where the hell it is as my shipping status just says the above in quotes, nothing else :(

Also, I've read up to page 32 now :) Just 4 more to go, thanks to all those who posted in the thread, some really useful information for a Mac newbie ;)

Here is the US it will say that until it's delivered to you. Usually means it's on the truck, so you probably won't be able to go to the depot for it. So, unless something comes up, sometime today during their operating hours you should get your MBP delivered. Good Luck and Enjoy!

If its a CTO order then most likely that means its off the K&N flight and in holland. Within a couple of days one of the shipping reference numbers will work with the final delivery company, which is likely to be TNT for the UK, as far as i understand it!

Ordering!!!

Eeeeek, I've been waiting for a long, long time to get a mac. Finally making the move from windows. Been using windows since 3.1. I'm so excited. I really wanted a mac for law school because I know it will last reliably all three years. Well, I hope it does anyways. I talked to a great rep when I called before with questions, and we've been trading emails for a while. He's supposed to call me at 7:30!!! Only a half an hour to go!!! I'd been waiting for a check to clear, and it finally did today, so now it's go time!!! Just sharing my excitment!!!

BTW: I'm getting the 2.26ghz mbp. :)

ugh, well he still hasn't called. I feel rejected. lol. I would email him again but I feel like I'm bothering him. I'm sure he, as well as all other Apple reps are very busy. I'm just antsy and want to get my order placed. ...when we spoke he said something about giving me free overnight shipping. As I said, we got along well. Maybe I just need to relax and wait for his call. But it's been an hour past when he said he'd call. Why won't he call me?? lol :p

Just bought one yesterday. It seems to me that the speakers on the new MBP are lower than on the previous unibody macbook. Or is it just me??

Typing this from my new 13" MBP 2.26/128SSD. Very nice, I'm pleased so far, I love the dead silence of the SSD. Did a migration from my (H)acPro and all is well. Geekbench says 3096. Not bad. Another 2gb memory on the way.
