I just cancelled my i5 MBA order and placed the 2020 Base MBP 13" adding 16GB of ram. I know its 8th generation but its the new keyboard and looking forward to it. My 2016 13" MBP was one of my favorites for a few years of use.

But with 512 gigabytes
Too many complains about the mbairi5 . My late 2013 13" MBP was my favorites for seven years of use.
I have hesitated with the 10th generation but way to expansive for me and with no wifi6...So i decided to be "reasonnable" even if it's still a cost !

What config did you get? I suspected you got a high end BTO. Those seem to be batch shipping from China at the end of the month.

Ordered my 13” MBP Space Gray w/ i7, 32GB RAM, and 2TB SSD!

Excited to see how the 10th gen CPU holds up to Adobe apps.

Set to arrive ~May 14-18! Fingers crossed it’s next week.

What config did you get? I suspected you got a high end BTO. Those seem to be batch shipping from China at the end of the month.

Can confirm a similar ship date with the high end model. Fingers crossed that it ships ahead of schedule! I tracked my iPad last month all the way from China and it ended up arriving about a week earlier than the initial estimated date.

Wow I hear and feel your pain. At least you this machine to look forward to! Did you order with expedited shipping? I’m in the Boston area and ordered one for one of my research associates. It still shows shipping May 14-20, and I didn’t have an option to select expedited shipping during check out.

Now a lot could happen between now and then, but I think it points to Apple surprising many and shipping way earlier than the estimated delivery.

This is typical apple, they always overestimate delivery and deliver ahead of that. Well in my experience anyway.

Ordered the 10th gen i5/16/512 yesterday. Got the shipping notification this morning with a delivery date of 5/12 via Apple, however, UPS is showing delivery of Friday!

Yes, this is absolutely something positive to look forward to! Like many, was hoping for a 14”, but this will more than suffice. It did give me the expedite option. The slower option tacked on an extra week.

Had my 16" i9 for a little over a week now and couldn't be happier! 2012 non retina -> 2015 15" -> 2019 16". Managed to completely skip the butterfly keyboard mess!
