It’s here! Almost full spec M4 Max (just 4TB ssd). Ordered Nov 4 with delivery date of Nov 19-21, shipped Nov 8, received Nov 12.

How do you feel in the passage from 15 to 14 inches?

I also have mb air 15 m2 and I was thinking of switching to m4 pro 14, but I'm afraid of regretting the bigger screen...
I have pretty much gotten used to it. The MPB is great. I also have a 32inch ultrawide monitor I can use if I need more screen space.

Got my M4 Pro/24GB/2TB MBP today: arrived at the Apple Store two weeks early.

Already impressed by how silent and fast it is compared to my 2018 MBP.

Excited for this to arrive 25-27th. Hoping it gets here early as I have the weekend of 23/24 off and I could start setting it up 😃 a

A little worried a 16” will be too big after living with an Air but here we go…

Mine is chugging along via DHL, which seems demonstrably worse than UPS. My timeline so far:

11/9 - ordered
11/13 - shipped
11/15 - cleared US Customs, sitting in Cincinnati

No delivery date estimate from DHL but fingers crossed for Monday. I’m in the Southeast U.S.

Appreciate the timeline. Your order-to-ship has me beat…I ordered on 11/12 and my bank and gift cards finally got popped and prepped for shipment yesterday.

Hoping I get sent out sometime today for a midweek delivery in Greater Boston.

Good luck! Your reply made me realize I typed October for all the dates. Obviously meant November; corrected now.

My order-to-ship time was super quick.

Had a chance to set up the new MBP today. Huge improvement over my 2019 intel. Very glad I made the switch this year and I look forward to the next five or more years with this machine.

I'm excited to see the performance/speed/battery boost over my 2018 Intel. I have that same five-year timeline for this next one. I feel like waiting 6-7 years is a bit long for my use cases (professional photography business).

Just got my shipment notification from DHL (11/18 on an 11/12 order). Oddly enough, it says delivery estimated at November 26, which is on the far end of my original estimate. Still hoping that gets updated to something a few days sooner since next Tuesday is a bit of an S-show for my household schedule. I have no idea when DHL shows up to my studio -- FedEx and UPS are always first thing in the AM.

I'll stay tuned and keep this thread updated in case people are trying to gauge their own shipment times.

ha...I didn't even notice! Clearly not enough coffee for me that day.

I hope my customs clearance goes a bit faster now -- I just updated that DHL estimates an 8-day arrival, though I feel like that could speed up over the next 1-2 days and get to the east coast rather quickly. I hope, anyway...

I wish you all luck. My experience with DHL has been abysmal. It made it to the US and cleared customs by early Friday. Then it sat in Cincinnati until Sunday PM. It made it to to my area and “out for delivery” yesterday. Then at 3 PM it said they couldn’t deliver because I wasn’t home. They just didn’t try. 1) I did a signature release ahead of time so they could just put it on my porch and 2) my wife was home all day. I guess they’ll “try” again today. 0/10 delivery experience thus far.

Finally home and set my new MacBook Pro up. This thing so so fast. I've always used 15" and was worried that going with the 14" model the screen might feel too small. It doesn't at all and I appreciate the lighter weight. I'm also loving the new space black. Yes it does show fingerprints more easily, but that doesn't bother me too much.

Trade in my 16" MBP to Apple and then ordered the base 14 MBP but upgraded to 1 TB SSD and Nano screen. Gets here tomorrow. So excited!

I ordered a MBP M4 Max 16” on Nov. 17 with pick up/delivery to an Apple Store for Dec. 5th. I checked the status today on the Apple site and it’s now showing Friday, Nov. 29th as delivery date. If I understand the policy for in-store pick-up, the store will hold it for up to a week from the date it’s available? I’m hoping that’s accurate, because I’ll be out of town until Monday, Dec. 2nd (Or 3rd).

Ordered 16” M4 Pro nano 48/2TB on Nov. 15. Original delivery estimate Nov 27-29, updated delivery estimate was the 25. Now, DHL says it will be delivered this afternoon between 15:00-17:00 PST!

My tracking has been slow as molasses. Ordered on 11/12, reached Cincinnati early 11/20, and seems to just now be clearing customs in Cincinnati after sitting there for a day. I was really hoping this thing would arrive in Boston on Friday.

Estimates show Tuesday, 11/26…yikes!

I have to say, DHL came through big time in the end and I got my MBP. It left Cincinnati last night, landed in Baltimore, I watched it fly to Boston on FlightRadar24, and they had it in my hands by 2:00 p.m.!

Loving this thing so far, though lots of configuring to do since I'm deciding to set it up as a new machine. Just has that clean feeling when I do that.

Hmmm, I had ordered my computer on Nov. 17th, and had it shipped to an Apple Store. The original delivery date was Dec. 5th, which was perfect for me. Then the next email I got said that it had a delivery date of Nov. 29th. That was more or less OK because while I would be gone, I could pick it up Monday or Tuesday. Was I ever surprised when I got a text this afternoon saying it was ready for pickup and that I had a week to get it. So the 29th ended up being the LAST day I could get it, not the first!

So now I’m migrating data from my old computer and am delighted that I had decided not to leave tomorrow - I can take my old computer to the store and trade it in tomorrow, then leave the day after. I’m very happy that it all worked out perfectly.
