Hi,
Yes, it works like a charm on iPhone 5.
Unless there's a bug on my phone it isn't showing up for apps that have already included Callkit support.

It's still there, but weirdly hidden: you have to tap on the blue 'i' in a circle button and then on the details page tap on the person's name or phone number which will take you to the info page that has the block option when you scroll to the bottom of it.Anyone else notice "Block Sender/Caller" is removed from iMessages when you go into their info or clicking on their photo? Why in the world would they remove this.
yes, we are talking about the callkit blocking in the pending release. the framework is 64 bit only so won't be on iphone 5. the app may still block through the old way of creating contacts etc. but not with the new ios 10 feature. He is talking about a pending release, not the current version.
Is all of this documented somewhere (as in which devices support or don't support certain pieces)? Nothing about it seems to be mentioned in the fine print at the bottom of Apple's iOS 10 page (where things of that nature are usually called out): http://www.apple.com/ios/ios-10/ Can't say I've come across anything else that documents it or provides more information about it, beyond basically what some posters have posted in various threads.you're lying or have your facts wrong. callkit blocking is not supported on iphone 5, as it's a 64 bit extension and iphone 5 is only 32 bit.

not direct from apple but good enough for me

other evidence is that i installed the latest hiya on my iphone 6 and my partner's iphone 5. only mine allows shows hiya in call blocking in the phone settings. enough proof for me.
Good morning,
We did a complete test specifically for iPhone 5 and it works perfectly. So my facts are true fortunately.
It's out soon!
Best regards,
Kamran
Thats great news. The wait is killing me.
Nah, don't believe it.
Further evidence, in addition to the dev blog above and the fact Hiya doesn't support it, is yet another app only supports it on 64 bit. There's no reason a developer would do this purposely unless it was a restriction from Apple.
https://callblockapp.com/
"Callblock is available for iOS 10 (on 64-bit devices, iPhone 5s and up and iPad mini 2 and up)."
I'll have no problem coming back and admitting I was wrong if the app comes out and works on iPhone 5 (specifically, the new iOS 10 call blocking and identification extension).... But I will remain firmly skeptical until then.
Does the 5 even have the Call Blocking & Identification section in Phone settings? What shows up there, just information relating to blocking contacts, but no mention of anything else (relating to apps or caller ID or anything like that)?not direct from apple but good enough for me

I wonder why it even references identification then if there's no mention of it or support for it.exactly.
Hello!
Kamran from Truecaller here. A new update will be very soon.
Thank you,
Kamran Mamedi
did you test this?iOS 10.0.2 fixes the blocking issues. So call blocking (and auto blocking for spam/scam calls) now works with Hiya if you upgrade your iOS to latest version.
Yes, it works for me. i can add users to my personal blocklist or enable the autoblock feature and calls from those numbers do not ring my phonedid you test this?
